I guess the L85 just isn't for me. Which is a good thing since I'm not using it again once I get the assignment for it done. At the rate I'm going with that, I'll have all the unlocks finished as well for it.

Mean the Scavenger dude? He is just random player in Scavenger. You know lost gear and took some hits etc.
 
Got the L85A2 Specialist done. I guess it's a better long range weapon since that's how I got the headshots when I was playing just now.
 
My boyfriend plays Battlefield 3. He's got birthday soon and i'm thinking about buying him some DLC. Which one do you think is the best? And does the newest one go if he doesn't have previous?

Well with 650 rpm and low recoil, Its clearly not the best option in close quarters. Long range is where the weapon excells along with the AK-74/SCAR-L. The L85 does have an advantage over those in CQB due to its bullpup configuration However.

The burst fire on the AN-94 can be quite deadly. However, the AN-94 tends to not be a weapon that is easy to pick up and do well. The weapon requires lots of practice on utilizing the burst fire. When I have gotten into the right rhythm of the burst fire and my aim is on, the AN-94 is awesome to use. When I have had issues aiming and cannot get the burst fire down, then I pretty much hate the thing.
 
There is little point in using the AN-94 as a semi-auto. The two bullets from the two round burst hit nearly on top of each other and thus act like one bullet with the damage of two. There will be some occasional times when both bullets will not land on target.

oh yea the AN-94 is my top weapon on Battlefield 3
 
There is a big problem with the AN-94. The iron sights, you need to get some kills with the terrible irons before you unlock a usable sight. I do not recomend it, use the M16 or AEK instead.

:lol: The iron sights are quite bad on the AN-94.

It can be full-auto. The problem is it's super slow. The 2-round, perfect accuracy burst is really the best option.

I wasn't aware. Every time I tried it, it only was on burst. Though I didn't look to see if it could be switched.

Last time i played the game i did a "counter-knife", i pressed like mad all the buttons of my ds3 and when he stabbed me he suddenly died and left me with 0 health, i was like WTF JUST HAPPENED HERE?

Chances are he got shot while knifing you. If a person going for the knife is killed before the stabbing animation the victim will survive.

Noooo! The AN-94's only advantage is how ridiculously accurate it is at long range. It would be awful on full auto with it's high initial recoil. The AN-94 is by far my favorite assault rifle, and it is awesome if you play it to it's strengths. Oh and it's a OHK in close quarters I'd you get a headshot.
 
Anyone having any lagg issues on PS3?

Its not showing more than 8 or 9 total online servers and someone else in the last room i was in said he was lagging bad aswell
 
I had a few rounds last night and the lag was bad at times. I pretty much mostly play on Aus servers and for some reason all the servers were only showing 2 bars for the ping.
Normally I always get 5.

I almost never lagg but tonight is really weird.

All regions, 3 modes , 10+ size, Hardcore only shows
6 rooms 5 of them are full and all have max bars :confused:

In my opinion, I would go for this or this. Both cost $23.95 each. (Aus dollars.)

Alternatively, you could get him this which costs $75 dollars (Aus), but gives him all 5 DLC's for free, along with other things such as a new knife, new dog tags etc..:)

They had a server update so it pretty much kicked everyone from the game.. and I was also laggy before I was kicked
 
I find the strangest guns to be my favourite weapons. The pkp pecheneg is now my new favourite run and gun weapon and it is great for lying down and getting the bipod out as well. Perfect gun IMO.
