Just got my hands on a copy of Battlefield 3 for PS3.

Got prompted a 2 GB update. :indiff:

Are there still issues with lag and unstable servers on the PS3?

👍 servers are sorted, and so's the input lag which quite a few people were getting. do you usually play on the PC or XBOX?

Im not really into shooter games on console, but I got a couple friends playing BF3 on PS3 so I thought I could just get it to play with them.

I wouldn't mind to add more people to play with though. :)
 
My dear AN-94. 3345 kills with it. My absolute "go to" gun in sticky situations (stacked server, capped out map, low tickets while attacking on rush). The whole trick is to know when the recoil resets after every burst in long range situations and quick finger in close range gun fights (underrated hip fire on that beast of a assault rifle).

Just put kobra sight and heavy barrel, you don't need to lead your targets at distance. Too easy.

Air superiority mode and golden/carbon mixed dog tags confirmed for End Game.

No problemo, send me an invite; mika_98, however i usually play either in the afternoon or late evenings. so not sure if i'll get much game time.

I am an awful jet pilot, but I might be able to finish the Premium Jet Assignment with a game mode devoted just to jets. :lol:
 
I loved Air Superiority in 1943, just hope it's as good in BF3. Although I wonder if they'll be using a new map for it or using old ones. Kharg Island or Gulf of Oman would be awesome with 8+ jets flying around.

If it's air superiority and maps to suit, I'll be skipping this DLC, especially if there are no new weapons.
 
What’s BF3 like on PC? My new one arrived last week and I’m debating on whether to get it or not. 64 players would be fun too experience though

I've recently been playing on the PC (temporary switch from PS3) and it's an interesting change. the 64 player servers suck on metro of course, but on maps like Caspian border its good fun. I advise you to try and squad up with some friends though. some maps like Grand Bazaar, Caspian borderm and Operation firestorm have an extra base in conquest.
 
Meh, air superiority will be everyone flying around in stupid circles trying to get the other guy which is not enjoyable at all.

Ok. Maps like Caspian and operation firestorm would be more enjoyable. Is there a premium edition like there is for the PS3?
