The code you redeemed your online pass with in the Battlefield 3 store then it'll show up in the store and you can get it for free.
 
Downloading it now. Should have it in less than 20 minutes.

Really? :confused:
I wasn't asked for any code it just said free. I assumed that the code I originally entered for the online play also registered it as a limited edition version.

Hm I dunno. I thought I was gonna get an email with a code but then I looked at the pass redeem code and it said to do what I did. I could be wrong though.

Mine's going slow as a mofo now. Probably swarms of people installing it now though. I lucky went into the Battlefield store and as I did it popped up. 88% now.
 
Downloaded and installed already. I have a very good connection. I'll be on a bit later I've still got to hit the shower and such. Work was a PITA today.

Did you lose your connection? Or is it a download problem? I'm at 75%...EDIT: nevermind @ 90%

Weirdest thing happened, i turned down my brightness on my ipod and simultaneously my ps3 went dark, like power saver dark, and so I turned it back up and It went bright simultaneously, I was freaked out but it turned out someone came online just then....... I thought my ipod was somehow connecting with my ps3
 
I think it'll be much easier to shoot down the F-35's. I can't wait to try out the Famas.
 
For about 4:10PM my PS3 has been going at it. It's 5:20PM and it's only at 41%.
 
Mine finished in about 15 minutes.

I nearly got to work on a hemi challenger R/T before leaving work but was handed a POS neon instead. FML.

I'll be on to play after dinner.

Well no it downloaded and installed fine eventually. Installing doesn't require internet, downloading does.

Few tips on unlocking it:
You need:
50 headshots and spot assists
5 knife take downs

Do the spot assists first with the MAV, then the headshots and finally the knife kills. I would suggest operation metro for the knife kills.

EDIT: just like to mention that I've been playing all night and haven't seen one other L96 being used yet :) one of the first to get it!
 
Personally my download is over 20mbs. Upload is just under 5mbs.

You need the DLC (I think) & you unlock it through getting kills. Go to my soldier & the achievements menu (I think, cant remember lol) & theres new guns to unlock.
