Sounds good to me as well, the only consistent way I am taking down choppers right now is with a jet which would be fine on those maps if whoever had the jet could use it effectively which is no guarantee at all :lol:.
 
Funny Easter Egg/Bug ,

Rush, Damavand Peak, attacking side, we just destroyed M-Com stations on 2nd base but one of the defenders was spawn camping us on the heli pad just before the BIG base jump in his Z11 scout heli, so I took out a pilot of Z11 with SV98. Since heli was quite high, it started slowly to free fall into "base jump abyss", I ran there quickly, base jumped, missed the chopper (duh!) , got angry , opened the parachute and to my surprise the empty Z11 was just beside me in the air , circle button popped out, I got into Z11 "007 style" and started to get kills. But the physics of the heli were completely screwed when I tried to enter the tunnel. I was thinking "what the..?", so I pressed R3 for Third Person View and what do I see? Z11 with parachute attached just above its main rotor. LOL moment for sure. (it disappeared when I landed and got out and got back in again). Unfortunately I didn't have much luck with flying it into the tunnel. Some random RPG took me out just before objective A. :(

Here's a tip, don't fly it into the tunnel! Since your to low and slow your RPG bait and I think they get tanks in there. I dunno I haven't played Rush in a while.
 
I wonder if you could get the humvee to land slowly if a couple of guys enter while having the parachute deployed.
 
Speaking of flares, yesterday I was shot down in a jet, when his dog tag etc came up it said he had 2 sets of flares & heat seekers?
 
iLife had the worst team ever. We were trapped at Monument Square on Conquest Seine Crossing and I saw a squad mate had a tank. Instead of supporting the team and going up to it after we lost it, he sits in the streets firing at the buildings. Then, I try to take B and some guy using a USAS with extended mags and frag rounds is sitting in a building and my team is oblivious to him.

Few people randomly asking "what's your psn?" and I would just like to point out that in most cases, it is printed next to the PSN logo, just under your countries' flag symbol, under your avatar, over on the left there.......

I am seriously considering trading MW3 for BF3.....

What should I do?

Well for one, some people are using the app (I am), and it doesn't have the PSN name, or country.

And definitely trade MW3 for BF3.

I don't like to have mine there as I've gotten some randoms that I didn't know from any threads. So I leave it as "pm me"

But i'd say definitely do that. Have played a bit of MW3 at my friends house and was not impressed. Felt like a repackaging of MW2.
 
Does anyone know how the matching will work once the DLC is released?
For example say you enter a quickmatch and start at Metro and the next map that comes up is one of the new ones, what happens if some of the players don't have the DLC?
Do you think the guys will get kicked or if the game detects some players don't have the content it just won't send you to one of the new maps?

Can't compare the two mate as I haven't played MW3 but as a newb to online fps I'm enjoying BF3 very much so.

I'm guessing it'll be like a new tab in the online menu as was the case with Bad Company 2s Vietnam add on.

@Vexd Trade MW3 for Battlefield 3, you won't regret it.

@Player7996 That what I figured it was gonna be that or what I said. Does anybody know if you'll be able to use the Back to Karkand weapons in regular lobbies with people who don't have the DLC? I'm guessing that update put the weapons in for everyone but they just can't unlock it.
 
What time does Karkand release for everybody? Is it midnight in your timezone?

Edit: Looks like 4 am PST. Downtime from 12-4 PST for server side updates and that's when Karkand is suppose to release too.

Edit 2: conflicting reports now. Could also be between 5-9 EST... Not sure which is right

I started playing recon A LOT more now lol. Although most of the time i'm running around with the PDW-R. I still can lay back and fire off the M98 though on certain maps and still do my job spotting and taking out targets at M-Coms.

I just wish the damn VOIP on PS3 would be working right. *sigh, one can only wait.

Last note, Battlelog is currently down, now what am I supposed to look at!? lol i'm addicted too...

We have no idea lol. Could be in 3 hours or so and could be in half a day we don't know.

OK yet another tweet by Battlefield official twitter. Should be in a couple of hours...

Hanaha! This is ridiculous! Another tweet by the same battlefield twitter account says 2pm-6pm so I don't have a clue.

I get the feeling if you have the limited edition it will be as soon as the update finishes in the next couple hours and if not the ps3 store updates between 2-6 pm so that's when non limited edition people can buy it.
