Man tonight on Metro I was defending B on the second base. I went into the locker room near B and there was 5 enemies just bundled up and I just sprayed and prayed and took out all of them, continued on and three more showed up and blasted with my G18 and took out 2 the third took me out. I was laughing so hard.

Good stuff.

BTW, how the heck does the underslung rail work? I have it equipped and also have the M320 selected but it's not on the rifle?

Yup like he said before searching for games invite the people before and then search for a game as a squad. It doesn't work 100% of the time but it's a lot better than joining a game in progress.

Dude, they have to nerf the MAV as a kill weapon in the next patch. Some 🤬 on the other team sat through 12 rounds of fighting doing absolutely nothing but fly a MAV around and kill people by flying into them :mad:. He got me about 4 times, excluding the times I was trying to shoot it down when I got blasted by an enemy. I mean, I kill the MAV get 20 points, he kills me and gets 100. Nuh uh, nerf please :grumpy:.

Also, does anybodies DLC weapons show up in battlelog?

Have you figured it out in the meantime? Sounds very strange... Have you activated your online pass already? Is your PS3 account linked to an EA account?

Anyway, I will bore you all with another tale.

I uninstalled the game, then tried again yesterday morning, but to no avail, so I got on to EA using an online chat thing through their support section on the site. Chat to some guy, he asks me for the game code I used for online.... I tell him I haven't used it yet, as I haven't been prompted for it.
He asks for it, I tell him, and he tells me it's a fake code, or used already.
I have a rant about this as it's fresh out of the box, like the game is.
He tells me I won't get online with that code, but I tell him I wont anyway, as I don't have an EA account that recognises my GTP_VEXD psn.
Long story short, he convinces me to go back to the store and get another copy of the game....
Do that, and guess what, after a fresh install, with all remnants deleted beforehand, I get the same error code, and the online pass code is coming up as invalid or old ON THE PS STORE!......Its out of a box I opened less than an hour before! Blimey these things go off quick.
So I get back onto chat help.
I have been messing around for 5 hours now, trying to get online.
The next dude on there asks me for the code.
I give him the fresh, brand new out of a brand new LE version of the game, code, and he says "its not showing up on our system, it must be a fake, go back to your retailer for a replacement"
I manage to keep my cool, and tell him I expected him to say that.
I ask him to delete the EA account I have online, and send me a new code that will work and grant me online, AND HE DOES IT.

He suggests: "Make a new email, then make a new EA account, then make a new PSN account, then use the email for the PSN account, the PSN account for the new EA account, and then use this code for the online pass, and it will work....."

I tell him "I'll see you in an hour"

So I had about 5 hours online last night, and I suck at BF3, but I am improving.
I would like some advice on how to level up the aircraft please, and also, which is better, scar or M4?

By the way, if you know anyone noobish enough to have problems activating their online account, or portion of the game, I AM NOW AN EXPERT in this field, and will gladly help out.
 
^ No worries VEXD! ;) Will add your BF account ASAP and I personally prefer the M4... SCAR is also a beast but you need to be able to manage the recoil to be able to really own with it... 👍 Can't really help with the jets because I'm pretty useless in them... :p
 
Hope you were able to take one of your version back to the store for credit or something. I can't believe his advice was 'buy a new one'!

No idea about levelling up the planes - I am terrible at using them, so stay clean away.
 
Does anyone else on PS3 find that the Back 2 Karkand maps are graphically inferior to the BF3 maps?
It looks like they have more texture loading issues than the other maps. Especially Wake Island. Most of the beaches look like they come straight from Minecraft...

Yeah Mike, I took a copy back, told them it didn't load properly (the girl just batted her eyelids at me and went "oh dear oh dear.... let me get you a new one sir"..)

The new game came with a code that was old.
This is proven fact, that some people are buying BF3 Limited Edition, and when they take the shrinkwrap off, the online code has been used, or is banned through EA.
Google it.
I am living proof.
Of course, some are lucky enough to be able to return their copies, and some are stuck with the campaign mode......

Haven't played it yet, but I'm sure if it was your only option, you'd tell everyone it was awesome, right?......

Not at all. I'm not a huge nostalgia guy at all but I feel like the B2k maps are much better than the BF3 maps. I love them they are a ton of fun and for me look amazing, plus they have more destruction.

You can USE downloaded DLC on any account on your PS3 , but you have to INSTALL that DLC within the game from the same region you have your disc/downloaded version ( ie US game will only work with US DLC , EU DLC will only work with EU game etc).


Anyway I think the DLC guns are just way too cool , FAMAS and H&K are like laser guns, only thing needed is foregrip and enemies will drop like rappers during east coast vs west coast beef.

Creating a battlelog login was a headache for me too. It recognised my PSN, but wouldn't let me log in with my PSN email address. Eventually I gave up and created a new Origin login, separate from my PSN, but my PSN still pops up in battlelog for some reason. Too hard!

I played with Support for a the first time last night and really enjoyed it. The only depressing part is how far off Mortars are. I am so sick of Mortar guys setting up shop in the "out of bounds" portion of maps on Rush and drilling chokepoints :indiff:.

Had a mad Rush round at Grand Bazaar where we were defending the first B MCOMM. We were all in the room fending off waves of attackers. Must have been about 10 grenades in the air at at one point for about 3 or 4 straight minutes :lol:
 
So I gave the multiplayer a chance today since I bought the game.
Had no Idea what to do. 2 kills 14 deaths.
I never had this much fun dying. Great game.
 
I'm not trolling. I like and hate the fact that I now know I'm not a good soldier. I think I had the "cocky cod" attitude. Cured now. Lol. Can't wait to be better.
