I still need 9 more grenade kills for the L85. I mostly get hit markers with the m320 so I've started trying to put a shot or two into someone then switch to it.

Play metro conquest and sit in the hallway near B and fire rounds down there. Easy kills.
 
I'm quite liking the Rush mode gameplay don't really play conquest mode that much

i can play rush but I don't enjoy it as much as conquest. It seems like more BS happens in rush.
 
Does anyone know what the career levels are in MW3 compared to BF3? are they better

The guy at the top of the leaderboards has 63 M249 stars :drool:

Yeah its got a good feel to that gun. I haven't got much of a chance to use it yet though as I've been unlocking all the others.

I finally unlocked the L85 and got my 4th SG553 service star.

Time for bed.
 
So I had a huge noob moment in the f35, at the beginning of the game, I was on the runway and a squadmate was on the pad, and I turned the plane during count down, so did he, we both didn't know L2 was vertical and R2 was normal throttle, so we collided on the aircraft carrier, he ejected in the water and I died...... We both had good laugh at that one

Edit: I still can't get the repair vehicle kill!!!, and I'm 22 headshots from the L96. Which is better, L96 or M40A5?

I think he may have been thinking it was easier to get stars for classes than single weapons and misjudged

Can anyone explain to me the best way to get friends into the same game/team on the PS3? Myself and one other guy from work have been playing together for a while and sometimes it's nigh impossible to get into the same match.
We have convinced two other guys at work to get BF3 and we're hoping to all play on the same squad, I just can't see it happening though.

Any advice would be helpfull and appreciated.

You can create a squad before going into a match, I think it's the third one down in multiplayer, just below server browser

Mate, we had few great games :-). I loved Squad Teamdeath match :-).

We need to have two more players from gtplanet to have a fully trusted squad :-)

Yup like he said before searching for games invite the people before and then search for a game as a squad. It doesn't work 100% of the time but it's a lot better than joining a game in progress.

Help!

I have bought the game today. (about time, right....)

I have come home, installed the 1.02 patch as it came up first.
That data corrupted before it finished.
Installed it again.
It installed the patch and then it installed the game data to the hard drive afterwards....

Booted the game.
Got to the options, set them up.
Went in campaign, no problem....
Try multiplayer....
"The connection to EA Online has been lost"
Freeze.

I have had this problem with the beta.....

Go to game data utility in XMB and the corrupted data is still there....
Delete that....
Try again....
Same 🤬....
Still no online access.....
Go to another account on the PS3, boot it, and then hit multiplayer....
Get the "please join EA and accept our terms and conditions" screen, so obviously, multiplayer will work on this account.
But I don't want to play multiplayer on this account.
Go back to the account I want to play on (GTP_VEXD) and I get "The connection to EA Online was lost"
and...... FREEZE.

What have I done wrong, and how do I fix it?

If I delete the game data, reinstall on the other account I don't want to play on, then try to access online on the account I DO want to play on, will it work then?

Anybody else had this 🤬??

Can't believe I'm having this trouble with the actual game, as I had this trouble with the beta, and the only way I could play that was by using another account.

I do not want to do that.......

HELP?

Have you figured it out in the meantime? Sounds very strange... Have you activated your online pass already? Is your PS3 account linked to an EA account?
