I played hardcore for a few rounds a while back. It was actually great fun. I don't know why I haven't tried it again.

Once you get used to it it's hard to go back because I automatically reload after a given number of bullets (what feels about right and by force of habit) but then you realize that wasn't enough and you make that last ditch effort to kill em with your pistol

I liked it in bc2 much better, they only lowered it to 60% health, I think bc2 was 50%, i know its not much but it's still 2 shots with the mk11 at any distance, I think it should be 40% though

I use core most of the time just because it's easier to get jet points that way, with spots and things (I never use outside view even in core)

But If I don't care about aerial vehicles, or playing with friends, I have to agree hardcore is the way to go

I do agree with the 40% but they have to have it some what high, because no one wants to die every 2 secs. You still have a fighting chance when getting shot to get to cover (slim chance).

I don't mind core, but I just like not having to put a clip into someone just to kill them.
 
I played hardcore most of my time in BC2 and towards the end I switched back to core. It's hard to get used to but to be honest, the things that you get just make it more challenging and easier to play in core. Hardcore is hard, but it's more annoying it seems than anything.
 
Well, I played hardcore in BF3 the first time now. And what do I have to say? A 15 killstreak in operation metro conquest! :dunce::D

I think I like it! Going to try it more often now..........if the servers would work properly! Matchmaking with friends is still horrible on consoles. Same goes for the sound glitches and mic issues. :grumpy:

When someone's shooting at you but keeps missing, you don't notice your screen blur? Or have you gotten a suppression kill assist? That's when you make another guy's screen bur and a teammate gets the kill

I have gotten tons of suppression kill assist. I guess I worded that wrong. I notice the blur but it doesn't bother me at all, just gets me more in the game
 
Using the SV98 with x12 scope,I got a 72 meter head shot. Though I want to get the M40A Rifle...sadly it feels like it will take a long time.
 
I am so tired of playing co-op with ignorant people, why am I ALWAYS reviving people. Take cover dammit this isn't COD!
 
I just have to keep thinking... EMR, EMR, EMR...

Almost halfway unlocking the MP7 than the EMR than I won't play CO-OP for a long time. :lol:
 
Wow... After five tries on The Eleventh Hour I finally get to progress and I got to the part where.... Well I suppose if some haven't done it I won't attempt to spoil.

You breach a door and a man in a shirt and tie grabs you than you break free and your teammate shoots him

It froze just after that, please don't tell me that was the end. Because I think I lost all of the points.
 
That shouldn't be the end...The end is in a public place when you beat him friday style!
 
*sigh* Drop 'em like Squid... Last engagement. Matched player doesn't read subtitles and starts shooting before the flashbangs. *facepalm*
 
I had to take a break from CO-OP. It really is tedious after you've completed all the missions.

Really? I'm hesitant to play hardcore because it feels like already doesn't take much to die. But everyone seems to like it so maybe ill try it out.

For me it´s the best, it stops Jihad people thinking they can run around like Superman all over the place. Now people are a tad more hesitant to move into a certain area etc :)

Sure you die quicker but you also kill quicker :)

Yeah I can see everyone's hesitant. When I did play on the hardcore servers I saw friendlies on all sides of the mcom but no one would go for it. :lol:
 
So I finally unlocked the EMR. Its fantastic in my opinion. I think its fire rate is slightly faster than the MK11 so its ideal for closer combat. I haven't had a chance to do any long range sniping. My terrible team couldn't hold an MCOM at all. Overall very happy with it. I already have 30 kills with it.
 
The EMR is probably my favourite gun so far, I'm really glad it wasn't a let down after doing all those tedious co-op games.
