What the heck does it mean when you just die randomly and get told 'Bad Luck'. Happened 5 times to me yesterday. Once I ran into and empty room in Grand Bazaar and the other 4 times I was also nowhere near combat in Firestorm.

I think there is a bug with suicides. I took off in a jet on Kharg island at the beginning of a match and it blew up at the end of carrier... 3 seconds in. Happened a couple other times when it clearly shouldn't have as well.

Had a weird experience last night on the Qblah blah blah Canals map for Conquest. Surprised a sniper that was laying prone near the wall at flag A by knifing him and next thing I knew I was under the map swimming in water.... Figured I could get out of it by heading towards open water, but that didn't work. Had to commit suicide to get out of it again.... Weird....

Sounds similar to the glitch from the BETA that they said that they fixed.

In the beta, there was one spot that did that. When the game released, they fixed it. Good game Kamui, You went 14-7? and I went 13-7

I believe so. I was getting really lucky. And went on a 5 kill killing spree when I sat behind a spawn beacon and half the entire squad came out of it haha

what do you get for it? And how do you get it? :)

You get 10000 points and get the advanced dog tag that shows how many sniper kills you have. Check my log you'll see the dog tags. You acquire it after receiving 50 sniper rifle ribbons.

My last game of the night was great. Went 26-6 in the AH-1Z Viper. It was on Caspian Border on Conquest. Got 7000+ from the chopper alone. I was commented by my gunner "your the best pilot evur" and the top guy of the other team said I'm annoying in the chopper. Maybe I'm finally getting a hang of the choppers. :D

Ok good to know :)

I can understand your gunner, i´ve had the opportunity twice to tag along with a really good pilot and i´m just blown away.

Always on the move, dodges missiles like it was nothing, annihilates the opposition and just keeps a pace i´ve never seen.

A few feet over the ground going at top speed around trees, mountains you name it.

Jets and choppers + me piloting = USELESS.... two of the many aspects of the game I have yet to master.... infantry warfare, ground vehicles and tanks... no problemo... :p

I can fly the helicopters but I'm totally useless in the jets, I think I have a total of 1 kill in all of the jets put together

^ Yup, I got the dive bombing thing down and flying the aircraft itself, I just can't hit ANYTHING! On the ground or in the air...

The opposing team called me "tank noob" on numerous occasions in that match. :P

I think it's pretty obvious which players were the trying destroy you the most.

Is anyone else lagging really hard? I rubber banded back to my spawn for 3 minutes stait.

It's like the vulcan cannon with 14 rockets and splash damage. They're okay but there is better specs to use IMO. I usually only use heat seekers/guided missles

How bout prox scan? What's it do compared to air radar

Right now I use flares, heat seekers, stealth. I have but don't use belt speed and I'm 57 points from prox scan, what's the best set up with those

I"m not really sure what's the difference to be honest. I think Prox Scan helps reveal everything on the ground.

My setup is Beam Scanning/Flares/Heat Seekers (or Guided Missiles)

Beam Scanning helps lock on faster, and flares are still the best anti missile defense by far. Heat seekers and guided missiles help a lot, and these days almost everyone has flares and is competent enough to use them at the right time, so a lot of times I'll use Belt Speed as well just so I can attack other jets easily.

I love playing theme music during battlefield matches. Back in Bad Company 2 my friend and I would flank by swimming in water, cue James bond theme.

When we need to make a charge, song played at sports events with "charge" in it.

Lol, good times

hahahhaha:tup:

Dear god! :scared:

How are the rocket pods for jets? Are they any good?

They're good for tanks, but that's about it. For anything else I prefer the main gun. If I run out of rockets and the tank hasn't died yet i quickly hit 1 and fire with the main gun. It usually finishes them off.

I'm not positive how prox scan works but It seems it spots anything in your immediate area where it is scanning. Things on the ground or in the air. Air radar pretty much spots any ground vehicles (maybe just tanks) and air that is on your minimap. I use rocket pods mostly because I don't like the heat seekers too much. I've had alot of success just sneaking behind them and then unleashing the main cannon on them and usually before they can react they're already dead or at least disabled.
