The BMP is SDM has been like that since BC2. The idea being that you use team work to either keep it alive or take it out. This theory rarely works out in practice though as most people run around like idiots or rage quit after a while rather than try to take it out.

Squad Deathmatch would only be fun if you stack the deck in your favor, i.e. form a squad of three or four, but that makes for a terrible time for the rest of the people in the game. I am not sure why DICE decided it was a good idea to include a BMP in the game mode, but that was a horrible idea.

I see you used the c4 gaming server at the end. That's what I used yesterday or before yesterday. 10 kills made for short rounds. Short enough for the BMP to be less of a factor. If you look at my awards now, I'm 8 and 37 in squad deathmatch.

What is squad rush? I don't see many servers; basically one populated one.
 
Anyone on PS3 want to play? I haven't play in a while and want some fun people to play with. I don't care if we win or lost.
 
I have been playing around with the MP7 and it is not a bad weapon, but it really needs to have Extended Magazines unlocked by default. Having a weapon that fires 950 rounds per minutes, makes for very short periods between reloads.

I finished unlocking all of the Support weapons and I only lack a Service Star in Recon.

Yep, I used that server to get my last Squad Deathmatch win. It made for super quick games and I think I only needed three games to get a win.
 
I was doing surprisingly well with the M98B. Got the QBU88 also and I'm 22 headshots, 45 spot assists, and 2 knife kills for the L96A1. I'm 9 suppressions from the MG36 and 36 kills from the QBZ. I still gotta get the 10 MCOM arms though and another hour in Karkand for the PP19 :(
 
I need five knife kills to get the L96A1. I am a bit disappointed that DICE did not go with the .338 Lapua Magnum version.
 
The knives are probably the easiest assignment to get for the L96A1. I wouldn't even be using Recon to get it if I wasn't on the last unlock for it.
 
Not for me. I have 34 headshots with 32 spots, with only 1 knife kill. I missed one opportunity because I forgot about the assignment. I'm not using recon to do the challenge and I rarely ever use it. Radio beacon and soflam seem like the only good reasons to use that class.
 
I almost forgot, I was playing on Damavand and was trying to stab a guy but it wasn't working after pulling my knife out and putting it away twice so I shot the guy with my G18 because a guy spawned on him and killed him and wounded the other guy. I go to the other guy to find out I have 3 bullets left and fire, fire my sniper from 2 feet out of desperation and he starts firing. He runs out of ammo and I throw a grenade and he stabs me and I jump back and finish him off with the knife. It was a rather awkward fight.
 
I've got close to 100 according to the game. I highly enjoy it because of the animation. Putting a mobile spawn behind the enemy in conquest makes it that much easier.

I think it's pretty good, you can support the team while their taking flags by firing shells at the orange dots that appear on the mini map when enemies fire and now they added hit markers which I can't tell if it's a good or bad thing.

By the way you're avatar is awesome...

Awful in my opinion. Not sure why anyone would use it over C4 or claymores. It won't kill anybody unless you directly hit somebody.

When we where at Damavand and it was two on two I was in a tank in the tunnel when I saw a guy running towards me with a repair tool. Sat there doing nothing thinking it was you only to be shocked when I was blown up to find out it was your team mate :dunce: :lol:

At least we got to play some rounds together when we gave up. 👍

Later on I lost the connection to the server just as I noticed roush turned up. :banghead: As much as I tried I couldn't get back in the game even though it wasn't full, it said I had no internet connection. :boggled:

No worries. I was also waiting at the tunnel exit for you to appear when your teammate (who later became our teammate on Tehran) appeared and blasted me with a jeep. We'll get there.

It was good fun - although I really can't stand Oman and Shaqiri. Sucky maps. The Seine was was a rout and I left shortly after. Roush got me twice :O

I'll be grinding small CQ servers to unlock Mortars, so just jump in when you see me.
 
So there is no way to mute players in your squad?? Pretty weird that they didn't make it an option. Loving the game so far though, been playing it all weekend. Just froze for the first time, hopefully that doesn't happen too often..

The jury is still out for me on the new maps, i'll reserve my judgement until I know them a bit better.

For leveling up, you can't beat it - on small number servers at least. Bigger servers on tighter maps I can see can be quite brutal if one side isnt co-ordinated.

I've finally unlocked the A-91 for Engi (has a nice feel to it) so I am finally happy with Assault and Engi kit now. I just need to get mortars and then Support is right too.

It was a full match so I got put on the otherside then 12 of your guys left in 5mins so we took all flags and I was left with spawn campin with the 416 and undermouted noob toob for the assignment..... My router is kinda acting up, so who knows how I managed to get on line and post this

Did they fix the glitch with the first assignment's sniper rifle Q-whatever, where it was way above your head when using it? Not that it matters cuz the L96 is amazing, it's like a headshot machine, better than the GOL in bc2, almost no bullet drop

4:30 am and still playing BF3. Time for bed I think. That was enough beasting for one night.

I only need a handful of spot assists for the L96 now.

Reason, Rush. On rush the mortar is all kinds of trouble even if you don't get many kills it weakens you and forces you to move before a second comes in. On attack that means you can stop a defender holding one spot, on defend it means you can spam a choke point. It doesn't exactly rack up the kills but not killing doesn't necessarily mean you're not helping. In certain situations the mortars can become way OP especially if there's more than 1 but on other modes they quickly lose their effectiveness.
