Working on my 7th star for it at the moment. 10 mins at metro with it and you'll have the second best scope for it (PSA) ;).

May have to do that. Hopefully I'll be able to find a metro server that isn't one sided. Pretty much every high ticket metro server I join is just an hour long base rape.

Rent-A-Servers are crap because of it IMO. Ban this, Ban that, lol.
I quit out as soon as I see "rules" on Rent-A-Servers.
If someone is annoying you then annoy them back in the game, don't ban them.

Can we ban helicopters because most of them sit over bases and blast everything that tries to leave.......where will this banning end ?!!

If the M26 Dart annoys you, use it back. It's pretty simple. 💡
I never start with those "OP" weapons but if people are using them, I'll bring mine out too.

Also, maybe look at some REAL war footage....OMG they all camp !!!!

Sorry for the rant but BF3 is changing for the worse IMO because it is trying to please everyone. Why does it need to attract MW players ?!!.

I started playing BF1 and BF2 again and it has been fun...I forgot what that was in a game ! 👍👍

Well i was asking to see a opinion really but yes you are correct.... But let me make it clear i don't ban people a lot... I just want good clean fun... I want... My server is up right now and i am playing right now if you want to join please do and no i won't ban you :).... I will be on for at least 6 more hours so come have some fun

I just want to say that I wasn't really aiming that rant at you :), just rent-a-servers in general. They frustate the hell out of me :crazy:

I'd love to play some rounds 👍 but I'm about to watch a movie.

What is your server name ? (I'll look for it tomorrow and try to join :))

Oh i know you weren't aiming that at me... No problem... I have noticed that the custom servers are not as popular as they used to be... Mine used to fill up in about 5 minutes after starting it... Now it is hard to fill it up... If a group of people would to tell me what they like to do i would set it up that way... I prefer conquest but i will play just about anything... My server's name is "(HC) CONQUEST 500% TICKETS"....
 
It does look a lot like CoD, but still looks like fun :) Already like Seine and Metro, so this will be a nice addition. Luckily later in the year we'll get the Armour Heavy maps. 👍

Agreed. I like it much more than the first map, Zeba Tower.

My friend and I just got banned from a server before we got to the spawn screen and it was most likely for the conversation we were having. :lol:
 
Close quarters looks awesome. I am incredibly excited about this pack. It will be nearly unplayable on 64 player servers but limited to 32 (maybe up to 48) it will be alot of fun. I base that off the gameplay on Metro. For those of you on console who think Metro is bad with 24 players.... imagine 64. In the Marines we call that a "cluster-****." lol.

Fixes for Battlefield 3 PS3 input lag, voice chat problems incoming

"It's interesting that you brought up the input lag, which has been a really hard thing for us to fix, but in the Close Quarters expansion pack we're actually fixing it. I didn't want to bring it up as a feature, but we are improving it quite significantly, and hopefully players who have felt it before will feel the difference, that it feels much snappier and gives better feedback, so we're definitely listening.

"And on the voice chat functionality, we've been working on it and I think we'll probably have the perfect solution very, very soon. It's very hard to fix between the combination of the built-in systems and our systems, and it's not that easy to just make it a priority over everything else because it will affect the rest of the game."

That looks like it may interest me, not so much the first map revealed.
Been working crazy hours this week so I haven't been able to play for about a week. Starting to get an itchy finger. :lol:

On the topic of DLC I'm very tempted to get the Air Warfare Pack or whatever it's called as I wouldn't mind trying out all the equipment on the choppers. Even with a bit of practice flying I still suck and the pack may be the only way for me to expierence all the air unlocks.

Any chance you could set the server to sit on a map with jets/heli's so that I can go flying when I pop in every now and then?

Being in the UK, I regularly go to it and find it empty.... but there is only so much you can do at Op Metro before you start trying to read the subway map....

Vexd, I'm on holiday in Florida right now. If any of the other admins want to do it, go for it. Caspian/ canals would be a good mix. Attack and scout practice.

New map looks much better than the first one they showed. Will probably end up downloading the next DLC as the original and B2K maps are starting to get old.

Just looked on Battlelog and I need 175 kills with the PKP for the sight I want (Holo) which proves just how stupid unlock-able scopes is. After all, scopes is more of an objective thing and different people prefer different scopes. Sure, make us work to get extended mags and fore-grips and what not but scopes? :banghead:

Oh well. Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time on high ticket metro maps to get another 160 kills until I can enjoy using the PKP. That is if I can stay in a game long enough. I joined one game last night, got invited to another so switched, played for a little bit (not even a full match, far from it) and got disconnected. Tried to reconnect and lost my connection during the loading screen and couldn't get back on at all 🤬

It takes you too long because you aren't doing it the way it should be done. When I want all the attachments for any gun I play Team Deathmatch on Canals(with high tickets obviously) and I can get 360kills in less than 4hours.
 
Except TDM is a horrific pile of confused rubbish, it's worse than most of the Rush maps. You can just play the game you want (though I have about 240 kills with the SKS in about 3 hours after using it on Bazaar/Metro). Sights are naff, I unlocked an 8x (or maybe 6x) scope...for a shotgun the other night. That's going to help me precisely aim my shot at their toenails!

Blitz/Dzida/others - I shall be on tonight, too.

Those new maps look pretty good

It's just stupid that you have to get x amount of kills with a gun just to get your preferred sight. If I wanted the red dot I'd have to get 200 kills before I unlock it. Sights are all down to the user's preference and should be available from the start.

Cool man I'll see ya online. Something was up with my connection to that server we were on I assume. I was putting full clips into people and they werent dying. Probably lag or something.... Afterwards I joined a server that VEXD was on and had a long, long match on Seine. Real pity we didnt take that match in the end 👎, but there was no lag and I was doing a lot better :D How long does it take to get a holo scope on the M60? I'm really bad with the iron sights and the 3.4x scope isnt doing it for me...
