I do not do a great job of keeping up to date video drives. I just updated mine a few days ago and another new update. :ouch:

EDIT: Just finished two Conquest games that came down to 12 total tickets.

I forgot how much I liked the QBB-95, and after a very successful round with it today at Seine, I think its replacing the IAR as my new run and gun support weapon. Hip fires like a biznitch plus 75+1 standard clip FTW.

Then had a noob meat grinder round at Caspian (it got so boring stomping them that gundalini left :lol:). The crowning moment was, us playing US and dominating by holding all four flags, only I see A is being taken. So I run there and neutralise the cap, and see the US tank sitting there unattended. Sweet, the dude must be round back behind the building by the guardbox, so I make a beeline for it.

As I round the corner, I see a T90 parked right next to it! :indiff:

But, er, is it empty, because he hasn't vapourised me? It's turrent is facing towards the US deploy and I have come from C, soooo, maybe its empty? but I hear it idling, so cant be that. Nope, I cant get in. The flag is still stalemated during all of this.

Ok, I'll try get into the Abrams - yep, that works, but he'll surely hear me start up and see me on the minimap. Surely. Nope. So I reverse and put two shells into him, disabling and only then does he wake up and try and return the favour, but I get the kill.

Ah noobs. Gotta love them.

Sorry about that. As much as I enjoy Caspian it is a bore when your team is totally dominant.

Funny thing about it is, that he wasn't even one of them.

Jesus, do I miss the times, where not every ten seconds a little 12yo tough guy could play Battlefield. Usually they played on XBox :lol:

Isnt the ADS spread on the QBB-95 supposed to be quite bad though?

Without any attachments, its identical to the RPK and better then the IAR at least.

I use a suppressor which tightens the cone, so as long as you don't try get cute with long range engagements, it's awesome. It's got a very low ROF, but it just places a premium on accuracy.

It must have got buffed, If its even anywhere near as good as the RPK i will be pleased. ROF isnt much of an issue imo, I have been using the AKS-74U in the engi class to great effect in my last few games. Will be sure to give the QBB a go later.👍

Whats people's opinion on the LSAT since the slight LMG buff last patch?. I got my mastery on it while doing the specialist assignment a while back, I think its still the ugly duckling of all the LMGs's it just doesnt have a unique trait/pluspoint to make you want to choose it imo.

Looks good in the green camo though.:)
 
After finishing the PKP Assignment and then moving onto the LSAT, the LSAT offered nothing compared to the PKP. The PKP does everything better than the LSAT. If there is a spot that is weaker on the PKP, then the larger caliber of the PKP covers up for the weakness(es).
 
I just had the most badass moment I've ever had in any video game. I was playing TDM on Seine Crossing and went over to that place with the fence and ladder. There were 4 guys there right after I climbed the ladder. I killed two of them with my KH2002 (which is a awesome gun by the way), knifed another guy(he had really low health) and finally hip fired the last guy to death with my G18. To top it all off, I survived with 2% health. I emptied a clip into the air in celebration.

Gave the QBB a go and promptly went on a spree on Noshahr, Subsequently getting me kicked before even half the round was over.:grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

Double xp weekend!


And.... as usual my weekend was completely planned months ago. Daughter (9) hosted her first halloween house party last night, wife and i are heading out for an overnight party tonight, town police safe halloween event in the morning and patriots game tomorrow afternoon. All in all a great weekend but no double xp for me.
Again.

I think i have played 4 or 5 rounds total since release of double xp. Earning it the hard way!

I had a 300% ticket round at Kharg yesterday that had the entire spectrum of BF3 experiences; triumph, defeat, humiliation, good luck and struggle.

We were playing as RU against a team stacked with clan members, plus we were outnumbered by 3. I thought we were going to get smashed, but played on. Through out the entire game the ticket counts were never more then 40 apart, which was crazy.

I made it my personal mission to keep the sky clear of enemy aircraft; and ended up shooting down the enemy chopper 7 times and collecting 3 jets too. B and C where almost always in some state of capture and I had the embarrassment of being repair torched whilst hiding behind the truck at C! This was countered by some good fortune later in the round when a guy saw me enter a buiding, and instead of just shooting my soldier, tried to knife me. He missed, I heard the animation, and shot him instead.

The tickets dropped to 12-27 to them, us holding C and B, so I made my way to D, killing an enemy there and beginning to cap it. Squaddies spawn on me and we're taking D, its 12-14 now. D is ours, 12-8, C is flickering now 10-4 and.......I get disconnected :mad:

We won by 8 tickets in the end. Hopefully it breaks my vast losing streak at the moment :indiff:
 
Just had a few rounds on the PC for some giggles (god I'm hopeless with the keys). Looks gorgeous as ever and even better framerates with the Catalyst 12.11 driver. :D

Amazingly I didn't fare too badly K/D wise, only a little bit behind.

Nice surprise to have quick chat via Battlelog with Daniel. 👍

Yeah, I'm lucky enough to have two versions and a pc capable of playing it to be able to compare. I have been working full time for 22 years though. :sly:

Honestly the pc version stomps all over the ps3. Really I should perservere with the keyboard but all my friends play on ps3 and for me that's when bf3 shines, playing with mates.

Still after today's quick session if none of my friends are online I think I'll give the pc version a bit more of a run.

I had a good 300% round with VEXD yesterday, we jumped in the chopper and I got a run of about 25 kills before we got taken down. Been sniping only (JNG90) as I work my way back in to it but finished the round on 54-8 which was nice.

This one guy kept trying to kill me (on B flag) but always flew in and then parachuted. Easy spot, I killed him 12 times! Some imagination and using the top road from Delta and I'd have been an easier kill.

I'm playing a Big Ticket CQ on Gulf and I'm the MVP by well over 5000pts. Both teams are PTFOing like there's no tomorrow. After a stint of being Quad Capped my team starts fighting back. I'm even having a bunch of fun killing/getting killed by the Russian's MVP (a bit of friendly banter). The ticket count's dropped down to 153-319 to the Russians and we've got all flags. I hop into a Tank at A and then the game freezes.

I am 🤬 pissed off.

EDIT: Still actually got the most points, best Assault, best Support and Most Kills :lol:

It's a proud moment, The first 100 kill game. It's something i'd never thought i'd accomplish at the start of my BF3 days. I get them regularly now though, And not being a Vehicle/Heli whore makes it a even more satisfying i find.:)
