Yes, As your dealing with your origin account i see no reason why they would need anything other than your origin details.
 
Thanks for all the help guys, I managed to get it working but when I try to log into Gun Club, it keeps saying "Error". I guess I'll have to forget about the 1911 for now. By the way, does anyone have tips for sniping with a bolt-action? I'm using the SV98 and it's very fun to use, but I always get owned at all ranges.

These 'scenario' games seem pretty fun, although I've got some changes I'd like to make, cause the 'hostage' should be in the same team as those who are trying to rescue him, no? Here's my take on things:
Mode: Conquest 500% Hardcore No Map (Russians hold all flags).
Maps: Gulf of Oman, Kharg Island, Bandar, Sharqi, Karkand(these seem like the best maps)


The Russians should take up a defensive stance inside or around buildings so they won't be spotted. US teams should be wary of AT Mines/RPG ambushes.

Team/Vehicle Rules:
-US: ATV, Jeep, Buggy, Transport Helo, Boat, Scout Helo (spotting and transport only), Jet with Rocket Pods
-RU: ATV, Jeep, Buggy
-US Jets are to be used as Strafing Runs. Enemy soldiers called out by Squad Leaders on the ground (e.g. "Two Enemies spotted south of Hotel")
-Spawn on Squad leader or RU Deployment only (in the case of Sharqi, spawn on the farthest flag).
-US: Up to 11 soldier, one 'hostage'
-Russians: Up to 12 soldiers.
-Max of two 'Long-Range' Recons on Russian side for spotting, long range engagements (as sniping is OHK due to Hardcore mode). Long Range ARs or Short Range Snipers allowed.
-One Mortar on RU.


Weapon Rules:
-Both teams use respective guns and sights
-No Javelin/SOFLAM combos. RPGs/SMAWs/AA Missiles allowed.
-Mines and C4 allowed (only defensively).
-No Defibrillators, SOFLAM or MAVs. Ammo and Meds allowed.

Map Rules

Gulf of Oman: No camping at top of Construction Building. Cranes (with Ladders) and Hotels allowed. Russian teams is to take B Flag before the game starts. US either spawn at A Flag or US Spawn.
Kharg Island: No parachuting to oil tower. US team to take Gas Station.
Bandar: Russians take all Village Flags. Leave Gas Station and Artillery Base neutral.
Sharqi: Russians keep all Flags. Spawn only at TV Station.
Karkand: Russians keep all Flags. Spawn only at Flag E.
Death Valley: Russians take all flags apart from A.

Main Objective: A HVT has been taken hostage by the Russians and are taking defensive manoeuvres in *insert city here*. Several squads, aided by helicopters and a jet now have to secure the HVT with any means necessary.

I think its still double xp for Premium only BS though - I got highest score at the tough round at Bazaar and according to battlelog, I am like 10th best score.

I've been on a mission to get as many Defib. kills as I can. The things my guys shouts after the kill are hilarious. Just now the guy yells "zap zap you *mother effin hole*" :lol:

I suggested on the Battlelog forums that instead of a US Soldier, the 'hostage' can be a Russian MAV. That way the soldier that was going to be the hostage can actually do stuff instead of waiting in a room for the whole game. There could even be more than one for multiple hostages :p

I've got about 89 so far. My favourite is the Russian's "DIIIIIIEEE, YOU BASTARD!" :D:tup:

EDIT: Holy crap - I'm in the middle of a 500% Rush and we've been defending the second set of M-COMs for almost an hour. I'm well over 100 kills now, if I kept trying I might be able to reach 200 :D

EDITEDIT: Nope, finished at 154 kills. My new record :D

Also if we could get people interested in other types of 'scenario' games we could get a good team together to play it.
 
don't know if you know but they are giving battlefield 1942 away for free on Facebook. may be a premium only thing though.

Meh, haven't played 1943 for awhile. All it's doing is taking up HDD space. It really isn't that great. Then again, I don't play it with friends like I do BF3.
What I'd REALLY like to see is a new Battlefield completely dedicated to World War II with all the features of BF3. Think about how awesome bridge battles would be in war torn Europe. Flying Spitfires and driving Panzers.

I'd buy that in about 0.8 seconds. It is why I was so disappointed to see MOH: Warefigher being another modern day FPS.

There isn't. They're giving away 1942 on Origin. 1943 is a console remake with fewer maps, fewer guns etc.

The moddabililty of 1942 seems interesting though. Might have to give it a download on PC.
 
Downloading it right now. Still looks awesome considering it's 10 years old. And it's a chance at playing 64 player matches without making my computer crap itself :D

It's funny because 4 years ago people had enough of WWII games. I'm just disappointed to see MOH being awfully bad.
 
Are the expansion pack maps as popular as the original maps for online multiplayer?

Thinking about getting them.
 
Definitely. I play Back 2 To Karkand and Armoured Kill just as much as the original maps. My favourite map is Gulf of Oman (from Back to Karkand).
