IIRC you can get BF3 + Premium for around US$60 on Origin now, and that includes the vanilla game and the Premium service (i.e. DLC, weapons, assignments etc).

If you don't mind, could you add me? I'm always looking for non-ransoms to play with. PSN is clskier.

You always seem to end up on the opposite team when you join me ;)

Last time i played the game i did a "counter-knife", i pressed like mad all the buttons of my ds3 and when he stabbed me he suddenly died and left me with 0 health, i was like WTF JUST HAPPENED HERE?

It definetly wouldnt have been a counter knife. Once the animation has initiated, The victim can do nothing about it. Your teammates can save you if they kill the "knifer" in the early stages of the animation though. I have seen situations where 1 on 1 with nobody else someone has seemed to survive a knife and kill the enemy instead. This isnt the case, Its just that both players pressed the knife at more or less the same time so each players experience the start of the knife animation (most often a grab of the shoulder) but someone breaks the animation due to them having pressed the melee a fraction ahead of the other. This is what ive seen explained by a few people anyway.

Haha, and as a result, all of your platoon members (platoonmates?) are on your team as well, and I get completely annihilated. I remember that both you and another guy got like 8 nemesis streaks on me once in a Canals match .
:guilty:

In that case, I might just suffer through 5 rounds of SQDM to get the L85 as that is really the only weapon I would like but don't have yet.

If you go in with friends, the 5 wins aren't that bad. Your squad will most likely be much better organized than the others, and you should easily be able to steamroll the other squads. However, if you go in by yourself, prepare yourself. It will NOT be easy.

I got my squad deathmatch wins on my own. It helps if you can get a bunch of kills and not rely as much on the squad.

Then after that I helped my friends get it done.

Feel free to add me...
Z_AK for anything but BF3
Team_THRT_ZAK exclusively for BF3 or stock-car racing on GT5. Im on during the afternoons due to Uni.

And gogatrs, sorry for deleting you, mate. We were barely on, frankly, I don't think we ever flew together in BF3.

Anyways, I've found the M-TAR to be incredibly accurate at long range. Was able to pop a sniper's head off with it on Oman (Rush).

Is it just me, or did pilots get worse on PS3? I mean, they're way too easy to kill. Usually I fly transport helis, but that AC130 on Death Valley(Rush) was pissing me off. After I nailed the gunners, I went after the Warthog. Either this guy was "trolling" or he just downright didn't know how to fly. He was trying ti get away from me by pulling some really useless maneuvers that either made him smash into the bridge or into his own teammates. In the end, I got kicked for killing the admin 11 times (the pilot).

I got a laptop that can play BF3 around medium, but it's still hellishly expensive on NZ's Origin :ouch:

Thanks Matthew77258! I bought him Premium for €24.90 (I'm from EU, so i was looking for something in Euro ;). But i found also "Battlefield Premium Edition" here : http://www.go2arena.com/battlefield.html. That is the difference between them?

Battlefield premium edition is the regular battlefield 3 game with premium membership included.

Trade premium? How would that even work?

Trade accounts with so you can use the store. It is supposedly ok now with the new terms of service. Since they limited you 2 activations and made it impossible to deactivate them on the PC Site now. So thumbs up

That suck why do they keep limiting the activation..

So people don't do exactly what Tzun said. Sony originally offered the 'game sharing' for people who own/use multiple PS3s (such as one for gaming, one for media etc). People exploited it by giving it to friends for free, so they limited the game sharing to just 2 PS3s to reduce the amount of game sharing.

^^This, i've had a few PS3's in the past, i called Sony about resetting my old PS3's, and that's what they basically said. This was about a month ago.

I'm slowly getting better on the PC now, been playing a lot of Caspian 64 player. Had my best large conquest game yet, K/D is nothing special but i was just playing the base capper and now and then jumping into the Tank. I've also stopped sprinting over when i see a group of red dots on the map, trying to get multi kills, which has also resulted in me not getting shot in the back as often :D

So you guys are saying, that game sharing is now allowed according to the new Terms of Service? AWESOME

I'm thinking of getting BF3 for the PC. Would these specs run it?
i5-2450M 2.5GHz
4GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7670M 1GB

I don't mind if it's on low graphics or anything. As long as it runs at 30+ fps, I'd be happy :D

Something I've only just noticed in the last two days... how long has it been possible to get a knife takedown from the front of the victim?

From the start - my very first 'tag-take' kill was in a game of Seine rush where a guy rounded a corner near the first set of MComms and I panicked and knifed him from the front :D.

I remember my first kill. Just came to my mind. It was alot like the one i got in the beta. MK11 in Metro and my first ever shot in the game, headshot and 110points :)
