Sorry for the double post but this need to be separated.

The learning curve is huge. I'm absolutely terrible with a keyboard and mouse. My accuracy is terrible and I can't do the most basic things like going to prone without looking at the keyboard. Also, I seem to get switched to the bad teams every time I play. it make winning the game that much harder but I think I may give up on trying to win and put more focus on learning and getting ready for an FPS fall.

I will probably be on later tonight around 11PM ET tomorrow, trying to complete assignments. I'm going to try to get the L85 and the ACW-R.

Froze three times in one game at Seine.

Was getting ready to turn it off anyways with the spawns there. Can't stand that map!

I played quite a bit yesterday and used two weapons, the QBB-95 and QBZ-95B, I had never given more than a passing amount of time to. While I did not use the QBZ-95B much yesterday, I could tell the QBZ-95B was a solid weapon. The carbine has very little recoil and is quite accurate. The firing rate is a bit slow, but so long as I try and keep my engagements at a mid-ish range, then the weapon works well.

I used the QBB-95 much more and found the weapon to work quite well. Unlike many of the other LMGs, the QBB-95 does not have awful recoil. The weapon is easy to burst fire and keep rounds on or near target.

I also spent a bit of time with the MP5K and that thing tears up in close quarters. I had used it before and expected the weapon to be a good one. Not having Extended Magazines made the weapon difficult to use. I finally took enough time to unlock Extended Magazines and the weapon is much better.

Really? I don't run extended mags (I use the suppressor) and I find it amazing to use!

I find the MP5 very good for those sneaky encounters with the recon class with the suppressor because it kills so fast.

First game in a few months, Wake Island CQ.

Winning RU1200 tickets to US300.

Lose all bases, and one guy hides on the little island in front of the carrier, causing our tickets to drop one-by-one. Get kicked for being idle.

GG!

Though somewhat late to the party I finally hit Colonel 100. here's the commemorative video.

After that I figured I should play more on PC to get used to the madness that is 32 or 64 players which will be standard in BF4. I haven't played much there and in fact only just unlocked the AN-94 but let me say, that weapon is awesome on PC. Even with crappy irons I played far and above how I usually do.

Finally got the F2000 on top 5 of my Top Weapons :D.

Since when is an explosive bolt to a helicopter not a destroy. Just disabled an attack chopper with my crossbow.

8 more kills until I get the mastery dog tag. :)

I could swear I got a destroy before... Maybe it was already damaged.
I really think it should be a destroy. Honestly, I took down a chopper with a mother 🤬 crossbow!

I've taken a chopper down with a crossbow before as well, but a 100% health chopper getting hit by a crossbow is only a disable, unless it's already been damaged moderately.

Had a funny moment with a sniper earlier.

Took a sniper rifle with the intention of climbing the crane on Sablan Pipeline. Got to the top of said crane and found another sniper there so I took cover and leaned out and shot my rifle and he shot his before I returned to cover. After a few goes at this I finally got him before he got me and the crane was mine.

Can anyone recomend good sniping maps/positions? I find a certain enjoyment from sniping and spotting.

Seine Crossing. Because if you don't spawn on a beacon or a teammate you die in less than 3 seconds.

And Metro Rush.

I've always been a fan of sniping at Bazaar too. I like running to be right at the beginning of the match and picking off enemies as they walk into the alleyway.

On noshar canals if you go way behind bravo there's a watch tower on the edge of the map you can climb in and see b and c and noone has ever sniped me from there. You can also cross the bridge between Charlie and bravo to get to it.

Not sure I follow you on where this tower is and after trying for the last 20 minutes to find it I have had no luck. Any more details?

I think he's talking about the grey building past B at the end of the train tracks.... next to a fence.

Then again...

If you want super long range engagements I can recommend Bandar Desert Tank Superiority, I accidentally joined a friend who was playing that once and ended up setting my best headshot range of 1002 metres in normal play because for some reason you get a lot of snipers there.

Say you looking at the map from the air with the carrier in the sea being north..look west on the very very edge of the map you cut the fence hop over and go to the tower on the right side of the road(I think the bridge between c and b takes you straight to it) it's a watch tower by the road. You have to hop out of bounds and come up the tower and you'll be back in bounds. Bandar is also a good spot but it can be hard to hide since its a very open map
