I'm kinda annoyed at how the M16 is a sum of the A3 and A4 variants, otherwise it would have 1000 kills while everything else is at 600 :rolleyes:. And the M416 is my second most use weapons even though I haven't used it heavily in about a year :lol:

More on the A3/A4 thing, I feel like if I use the A4 on the Russian side people will think I'm a noob. The A4 is statistically superior to the A3.

I just prefer single-shotting or burst fire compared to fully auto unless I've deployed a bipod (in which case hold down the trigger :p).

The best bit about it is the only way to take me out is another sniper, a vehicle or running directly in front of me so I just get on the floor and when they come up the stairs expecting to knife me and take my dogtag they get a face full of G18.
 
^Yes, the M416 is a great gun. I currently have 8 service stars on it.


I'm going to try and connect to that Battlelog thing. I tried earlier but I ran out of time.


Edit: Connected to it, but for some reason someone already had xXKingJoshXx, so I went with The_xXKingJoshXx. This Battlelog is pretty cool!


My top five weapons are:

1. M416, 874 kills
2. SV98, 394 kills
3. M249, 269 kills
4. P90, 238 kills
5. Knife, 180 kills


The only weapons out of those that I still use are the M416 and knife. The SV98 has been replaced by the M98B, the M249 has been replaced by the M240, and the P90 has been replaced by the M5K.

Man, the MTAR-21 is sooooo much fun to use. It jas replaced the QBZ as ,y favorite carbine. On an unrelated note, Gatrs is insane with the crossbow. I played a metro match against him and he seemed to crossbow me in the craziest situations.
 
What is the best sniper rifle? All I care about it what the bullet itself does so when considering I only care about the damage and the muzzle velocity and low down on the list is the suppresion. I don't care about bolt cycle times and reload speeds. It is a sniper rifle, I take my time.

I would say the M98B, x8 scope and straight pull bolt.

At least it's my favourite sniper rifle.
 
You have people running around with Bolt- Action a lot. But you can really use any gun and it comes down to who see's who first. I'm also glad noobs haven't found out Shotty's are like a God weapon on Hardcore...

AEK: 1094
M4A1: 891
93R: 964
ACW-R: 930

The M98B has the least bullet drop so that's probably the best for full-out, long range sniping. The JNG-90 is a good substitute.

That was a good one. I missed last weeks air superiority. So i watched it. It was as bad as the game mode is. :)
 
Hey, I just got battlefield 3 the other day, getting the premium version... I downloaded all of the dlc, but it wont let me use it. I looked back at the store, and it says I have them all downloaded. How do I use them?

After using the 1911 and variants for most of my playing time, I made the switch to the MP443 over the weekend and decided to stick with the pistol for more than just a few minutes. While the reduced power is definitely noticeable, the extra magazine capacity, faster rate of fire, and faster reloads are quite nice. Not sure I like the MP443 more than the 1911, but trying something different has been enjoyable.
