Anyone else having trouble joining multiplayer servers on BF3? Every time I join one, it stops at the loading screen (before it shows the game info, map, and etc.) and stays there. Just this last time, it froze, and it's pretty annoying.

I think this was just my issue, but I fixed it by clearing out about 20-25gb of unused space. So if anyone has this issue, you should try that.


Edit: Still having this issue, but it's only when I play on Operation Metro. :(

Attempted to join gogatrs earlier. Noticed the entire other team was [MBP].

So I found an aftermath CQ server and finished up the last aftermath assignment I had remaining, and didn't get stomped by an entire clan. :sly:
 
It was like that last time with DHundley, but I cam in and got MVP 1 or 2 :sly: And I was on the other team. Win!
 
If it wasn't a situation where the team I was on had no spawn points outside of the base, and I had no squad, I might have stayed.
 
I wonder why I have nearly twice as many kills in the T-90 versus the Abrams?

Isn't the T90 faster than an Abrams? It has more pull on a steep hill....

I always prefer the Russian variant of anything because I feels much more badass. :cool:

T-90 > Abrams
Flanker > Hornet
RPG > SMAW

That's just me though.

The T90 has a smaller profile than the Abrams, plus many prefer the aiming reticule on the t90. I've watched a few tank 1v1s by daskro and it appears that the t90 is the preffered choice. I have a lot more t90 kills and I put it down to playing a bit to much canals conquest.

Yep.

The Abrams has too much recoil, plus that ridiculous clutter which is its site isn't a good combination.

I've used it a LOT lately with iron sights/bipod/flash supressor. Of course it's absolutely lethal when 'podded, and I think the iron sights are pretty sweet.
 
Do many people still play this saw it's the free game on psn plus?

Also, I finally got the mortar proficiency tag this weekend :indiff:.
 
I got it with Plus as well, but it prompted me to upgrade my hard drive so I've been re-downloading everything (my external drive is apparently dead) for the past two nights. At the current rate I should have BF3 downloaded by August 2015 so I look forward to playing with you GTP guys then.

The T90 is generally better I agree, but I hate how the thing will spin out on bumps where the Abrams just doesn't even blink.
 
True, T90 is much more prone to oversteer, but it has much better shooting radius when firing from behind. So it is much easier to C4 Abrams tank from the rear (especially with squad sprint perk+flak jacket).
 
I'm going to get Battlefield 2 instead of BC2 since the gameplay's more tactical and stragetic compared to the BC2's.

Just did my best match yet (as far as I can remember :dopey:), went 96-7 on Conquest on Metro. :D

Got 18,387 score from it. Plus ribbons and whatnot.

I actually think my best was 114 on one of the Close Quarters maps. Maybe I'm mistaken.
 
When does the alpha and beta come out?

I was invited to the alpha of bf3 but didn’t have a good enough computer so I sold the key on. Hopefully now I have a decent computer I get invited again.
