The best MG is the M240B. Just start spraying before you turn the corner.
 
Got a little tip for you guys.

If you are playing Operation Metro, and people are in the glitch.

Outside the Russian deployment, setup your Mortar. Then locate them in the glitch, and then fire away. I love when people get in there now. Me and my friends cleared a squad out of there the other day.
 
Just got kicked 3 times in a row on different servers: 1x capturing a flag on a bike, 1x flying a jet when I was only fighting other jets, 1x as assault capturing flag. Servers were never full so what on earth is wrong with those admins? Guess I'll only join dice servers in future.
 
I can't play anymore without being kicked or being on the bad side of a pure a** whooping. I was playing at metro the other day I was 24-1 to start of the match (camping by the stairway at the Booth) and I got kicked. Today I killed an Admin with the MP7 and I got kicked. Add in a couple of crashes here in there for me not updating PB and the whole game is a ruined experience.
 
Currently trying to get the Master Dogtag on every weapon (without explosives and such), and just realised if you know how to use the LSAT, it's actually pretty decent.
 
I like the LSAT. Anyways I can't find the Type 88 LMG. I heard if you download the DLCs in a specific order, you lose some guns. Is anyone else missing guns?

Yes, the M1911 S-Tac, but only because I have not finished the Assignments to unlock the pistol.
 
Bought ps+ and am having trouble downloading and installing bf3.
I make it through the 12 gig download but keep getting corrupted on install.
I habe deleted and redownloaded 5 times now and have also deleted game data from the hard drive thinking maybe my save files from the disc were clashing with the download files.

I have always had issues with battlefield map pack downloads but usually they went through on the second attempt.

Any ideas?

Do you get an error number? 80029564 perhaps?
If yes, then go to your router and disable the firewall for the ps3 (only for the ps3!) and do not download it in the background.

EDIT: Not sure if the energy saver feature is problematic (automatic stand-by after a certain amount of time), disable it to be on the safe side.

Today I joined a "-{DICE}- MOST POPULAR - Normal ******" server. Description just as the other dice servers + "no igla/stinger please". Owner was "DICE_USA" and there were 4 guys with {DICE} clantag running around. Just too bad that some of them had german names and even with numbers such as "97" (=too young to play this game you'd think).
I got killed by them in their heli a few times. Looking at their tags just confirmed that they never on earth were real dice devs.

Teams got balanced nicely, only for them though. Did you shoot down their helicopter -> ban. I don't have to say their team was always full and they switched all good players to their team and pretty much got rid of the rest who could possibly become too dangerous for them.

The conquest game ended with me at #1 with only 7k points (joined during the game) and 15 - 9, which doesn't matter that much though. BUT the rest from #2 - 8 (about 8) all stayed under 1k points and didn't even have more than 2 kills. I'm serious, none of them had more. Not because they were that bad, simply because they kicked all good players and those poor guys were just the ones who had joined in the hope playing with dice dudes.


Soooo, next game I took the jet and shot them down. Guess what? Ban! (expected though)




Why can't we report such 🤬 who do 🤬 like this?



EDIT: The DICE_USA account is just a random second account which isn't used. I checked the profile (which isn't possible on official dice hosted servers btw). Just in case one wants to blame me for "blaming" others.

You can check the "Players Met" in your XMB screen to message/view the person's account.


Also I am not sure, but that doesn't sound like a official Dice server. I have never experienced a problem in a "true Dice" server, reason there are never administrators in there.

I wish that they would get on and take a look at all the boosters on Operation Metro then patch that glitch. But I love the easy kills when people are in the glitch.

Every time I kill one of those people, I always message them saying "You suck at cheating". I usually get a smart reply with "I bet you can't do it again" or "Lucky shot". Then I repeatedly kill them again. Pretty much nuff said.

A friend of mine and I have had mortaring fights with glitchers, we always win.
 
I get banned a lot slump especially when running a squad in our platoon. I don't get banned as much others because I'm not a level 100. But recently I have been banned a lot of times for even just killing an admin once or twice. I get fed up anymore with all these Noobs that just ban who ever kills them. We normally join our own server or dice ones. Slump its not going to go away anytime soon. And you can not get banned from dice servers only kicked from TK which is impossible on normal.
 
That was the point. Some dudes thought it's great to fake an official server and even used Dice clantags. :rolleyes:. DICE_USA is definitely not real, in dice servers you can't check the owners profile.

EDIT: My previous post actually shows that I knew it was fake. I just find it ridiculous, because there were some people who really thought they were devs.
 
Mostly people that are trying to catch people off guard when searching for official servers. Been happening since rented servers started.
