It's my most used assault rifle. One of the highest bullet velocity's in the game means it is fantastic at range and the bull pup bonus allows it to hold up pretty well close up.

I can't see how the AK74M has more stopping power than other assault rifles. Last I heard all ARs did the same damage except for the G3A3 (which is a beast). The AK74M has one of the slowest fire rates out of all the rifles (I think only the SCAR-L is lower, if I recall correctly) making the AK74Ms time-to-kill much higher than almost all ARs. I think there's a reason you see so many 100 star M16A3 users. It's as good as any other assault rifle. You won't see many dedicated AK users as most jettison the gun as soon as they unlock the M416 and/or the AEK and are freed from using the AK when they're playing on the Russian side.

I like the G3A3 a lot. It packs a punch, little short on bullets(only 21).
The Rex must have the absolute worst sights in the game. It is my 2nd best pistol, but I feel like I can't hit squat with it.

I also like the G3A3 a lot. It does have a little bit of a short mag but you only need a few well-placed shots to kill someone. I think it's best used for medium-long range. But, you can probably still find some use with it in close quarters with the right attachments.

Yeah the Rex has those really flat sights, haha. But I run the Rex with my G3A3 a decent amount of the time. Since the G3A3 is more medium-long range, I can always pull out the Rex in close 1 on 1 situations and I tend to be pretty dominant with it.

Both are great but I don't think I'd use them together just because you don't get many bullets in either. Depends on how accurate you are, I guess.

But both the G3A3 and Rex make that up with the damage for each hit. Yeah, accuracy plays a pretty big role in how good you'll be when using them.

If you want to use the G3A3 make sure someone in your squad has the squad ammo perk, I find I seem to run out of ammo in Rush and even TDM. I would recommend it in hardcore. Check out the damage.

That's true, but I usually don't have a hard time finding an ammo pack laying around.

Love that damage rating.

They already did that, I think even more than once.

The G3 is by far not the most used gun, so I don't think it really needs to get nerfed. If it really were that OP, then way more people would be using it.

BF3 is anything else than a bad game. Just keep in mind that BF4 gets released in a few months.

And BF3 gives much more variety than a COD as example. Game mode-wise and also content- and gameplay-wise.

Yes I agree with you as
COD is Lone-Wolfing, it's an arcade game, it's fun but can get boring.
BF is based on teamwork, it can be very annoying because of DICE's patches but it is fun nevertheless.
 
This may be old news but my Battlelog isnt working..for some reason my BF3 account is different....how do I change this???
 
I have thought about trying to do that, minus the bolt-actions, but I think I would start to hate the game. There are too many weapons that do not hold up very well against all the tryhards and I am not not quite skilled enough as a player to consistently make up the difference in many of the lesser weapons.
