That's why I'm using my secondary account. It's always good to start fresh. I'm at level 16 in like 4 metro games.
 
Not sure why it's taken me so long, but I finally picked up the SKS and have been having a ball with it. I went iron sights until the kobra came along, and with a foregrip and suppressor, it's so much fun to use and lethal at medium range. You just have to play smart, to avoid getting ACB'd or surprising a squad of enemies, as it's always going to lose against a group like that.

You don't need a foregrip! I always see people using foregrips and it's useless on DMRs. There is no horizontal recoil and it ruins its long range accuracy.
 
I think we should do one last giant private match/squad up before BF4 gets released. Even with some of those who don't really post here much anymore 👍

Great idea but some people here play on the PC and some on PS3. Also the problem with time zones. But if we somehow get it together that'll be awesome.

Try the flash suppressor. It reduces the recoil a lot. 👍
 
After having not used the AEK-971 for quite some time, I decided to give the weapon a go since I had finished the Assault Mastery tags for all but the FAMAS and KH2002. The weapon likes to spray out bullets and that works wonderfully in close quarters. The AEK is still pretty good at mid ranges and around adequate at longer ranges.

I think I used the AEK enough to get one star with it (which was ridiculously quick) then never used it again. I should probably give it another go, I just really like long range rifles like the SCAR-L, AN-94 and L85 though.

Oh yeah, can anyone tell me what I'd need to search for to find that video of the guy flying his jet and acting as if he's a real pilot? It's hard to explain but I think it was posted here, he was using voice chat to be all "mayday mayday I'm hit, I'm going down" and all that and his squad mates weren't sure if serious.

I've been using the G3A3 on hardcore lately. God that is a good gun. Anyone else use it? I use it with Acog, foregrip (I think), and a heavy barrel. Not sure if I should use it on fully auto and burst fire it or semi auto and rapid fire...

Full auto but burst a lot.
I've used it with a 6x, bipod, and heavy barrel. I had a bunch of laughs using it xD

Heavy barrel all the way, Recoil isnt a problem with semi auto's anyway especcially low recoil high fire rate weapons like the SKS.

I use the G3A3 all the time now. Heavy barrel and flash suppressor but no zoom RDSscope. That gun hits hard.
 
I used to use the M416 but I'm nearing my 11th service star for it and I've been getting bored with it. I find the G3A3 to be a great alternative - it's accurate and powerful.
 
I am going to try and use the .44 Magnum for more than just one life. I just played one game as a Recon with the JNG-90, .44 Magnum, and XBow and did quite well. The other team had quite a few stationary Recons and I beat up on them pretty badly. Close quarters were very hit or miss because I am not accustomed to using the .44 Magnum. Mid range engagements were a bit less hit or miss and would likely have been better had I had the 8x Scope on the JNG-90 (need to unlock that thing first). The XBow worked tremendously for silent kills.
