I was the exact same way, It felt like an endless barrage of presents :lol: What I disliked about it at the time was that there was not a selection to combine all the map packs on one rotation :( I got tired of playing the same 4 maps of DT, and having to quit to play something else.

I've always wanted an official server that was a 'Premium' server that had each map in rotation, from every pack, would surely get me back to playing this game a lot again.

I have come across some servers (only 2 I think) that rotated between all DLC's.

I am hoping to get some time into the new maps this weekend. Still haven't played any yet because I have been playing other games. But one thing is for sure, when my friend gets this in January, we will be playing BF4 a lot. For now I don't have many people to play BF4 with.
 
I almost doubled my marksman ribbons tonight, I'm sitting at 12 now. I got a 344m headshot with the acog. Normal mode really forces me to do headshots.
 
I always thought getting this ribbons is pretty easy.
Just play some rush. Use the Srr-61 when you are in the defending team. If you are in the better team the attacking team will get bored fast and a lot of them will start sniping. The problem for them is that the defending team often has the far superior sniper spots. Now take them out one after an other. This way you should get at least one ribbon every round. One of the best maps for that would probably be firestorm. When they camp at their spawn you get a ribbon for every kill :D

Sniping works also great on the tdm version of Siege of Shanghai. It's a little bit harder to do because you need a competent team that holds the roof for you. For all who are Battlefield veterans and those alike who may or may not have played several of the games before, go ahead over and vote for maps to come back to the series for this last DLC. I made sure Wake Island was included in my map picks just out of the fact it is a long-time Battlefield tradition.
 
I started with BFBC2 and I picked pretty close to all of them except the "new" map pack for BFBC2. I didn't like operation harvest, and the rest of that map pack.

Yeah, I always thought it was hard to get this ribbon, especially playing hardcore. I recently switched to normal, and found it easiest on the new map pack (that I am starting the blank on) on conquest. I originally had 5 or 6 and now I'm up to 28 in 2 nights

I had heard of people doing 800m+ since BFBC2 but I had never done anything over 500 before, that was awesome. Then we continued to lose the match until it got way down. We won 2 to 0, by far the closest match I had ever had.

My longest headshot is 1451.69m and was with the GOL 40x scope and bypod of course on Silk Road. Spawn to spawn snipe.
 
That's crazy, you must have been at the very bottom of the scope.

My right analog stick stopped working all of the sudden but I rejoined another match and now it works.

I get that as well sometimes. Lag on my right analog stick.
I thought it was something about my controller but if other people get this as well it must be something on the PS4 or even BF4...
 
Oohhhh! I never figured that one out. Ok now I get that part of the scope. I always left it at 0m.

As for the lag, it was weird since it completely just stopped responding.

I'm getting tired of this "hacking" stuff.

On the bright side, I watched "Uncharted 3: The movie" on YouTube on my down time. I got the game for PS3 awhile ago but never even unwrapped it. I won't have time to finish it by the time Uncharted 4 gets released.

Update: I finally unlocked the FY-JS. First impressions are that it is nowhere near as good as the SRR or GOL. I'll probably finish up my 500 kill goal with the SRR (I'm at 414) like I did with the GOL and move on to the JNG which appears to be another favorite for people (I haven't tried it yet personally). But I think I'll stick with other classes for now. I'm tired of sniping.

I joined a match tonight, and got put on a squad with thicke44 and Neebs, momentarily until the match ended.
 
It's in vanilla since China Rising.

It's the nightmare of every rooftop camper and the wet dream of everyone who plays only for k/d ^^

I decided to play a little, played a few rounds of pistols only infantry modes to get a bit closer to unlocking the Desert Eagle, the game told me I'd unlocked two gold battlepacks - which seemed odd as I didn't level up - and, well:

They gave away a few battlepacks for New Year's and Christmas I believe. I had that many when I checked yesterday.

Oh, right. Well four of the packs contained knives so I only have three left to unlock (though I somehow doubt I'll ever unlock the bipod knife), on top of the three weapons (a carbine, LMG and shotgun). I really don't know how I feel about the game now, since it seems like whenever you play a conquest game where the jets and/or chopper pilots know what they're doing and the mobile AA is, well, being used by someone who can operate a mouse, it's very difficult to get anything done in the game. All aerial vehicles are shot down almost instantly, all ground vehicles are destroyed quickly, infantry gets a load of grief from choppers... It's at the point now where I sometimes take an EOD bot so I can destroy or at least distract their mobile AA from as comfortable a distance as they enjoy while keeping the airspace locked down. Meanwhile the friendly MAA is usually off trying and failing to cap objectives and get infantry kills or just getting destroyed by good attack jet pilots...

Which is a long-winded way of saying I only actually enjoy infantry game modes now, namely TDM and domination. You sometimes even have a reason to use shotguns, as utterly unfathomable as that sounds.

Those are from class service stars. I think the Final Stand update finally pushed those through. I think I had 50 something Battlepacks to open at the time.
