I started playing this again last week, quite surprised how much the weapons have changed since I last played it a few months ago, the quality of online play seems to have improved too. Although I have noticed that a lot of the high level players - mostly ones in clans(that I come across anyway) base rape and steal vehicles from the main spawning area.:rolleyes: I've also noticed that the AN-94 with Magnum ammo and 4X scope has taken the 'noob gun' throne.👎

Aside from that i've been having a lot of fun, especially this morning before I went to work, the best being one conquest match at Arica Harbour where we had an epic firefight in the main town area that must have lasted at least 20 minutes!. I also got my first set of these in that match too:

i also play BFBC2 im pretty good... my rank is not that high but its probably because i usually only use two classes.. but its all good. my psn is: rpr101 just like my name here in the forums and you can add me whenever. i have a mic but i might not always use it.
 
I finally completed getting all the pins and insignia's today. I just have a few trophy's to complete to get the platinum:tup: Had some great rounds with Tommi today, its been awhile since we tore up the Battlefield. We had some epic matches with no stop brutality this afternoon.
 
Does anybody know why I sometimes get kill assists even when I haven't shot anybody? I'll just be walking around and all of a sudden get 30 points for a critical kill assist. I know the health takes a while to regenerate, but not that long. Or is it when you kill somebody and they respawn and a team kills them, would that somehow count?

I love the Atacama Desert level, although the first time I played it I didn't know it was new so I has kind of lost and confused for the first 5 minutes. Now though I start every day on it.

Sometimes if you are pointing in the direction of the enemy it's a glitch and you get the points! This also happened back in Battlefield 1943 as well.

I got killed by a guy today with 0% health, 0. The even bigger slap in the face was the fact that I shot him. I thought that zero was dead, but I guess that's wrong.

On a fun note, I was playing Atacma Desert today and got a double kill with my sniper rifle. It was about 5oo yards away and they were both in full sprint. It was lucky timing because they were running in a V pattern and I got then as they met, epic :D.

I don't think it's a big thing yet, but on the new map White Rush there's a little trail that goes all along the rim of the canyon and is a perfect route to either destroy the M-Coms or flank the attackers. I managed to get 7 dog tags and about 3 defib kills in one game by using it.
 
About Et tu Brute trophy where you have to knife 5 friend ... is it ok, to knife one friend 5 times?

Yeah you can knife the same person multiple times...ask jazzybrandy (he got me several times)! I need only one or two more kills to get the trophy. If my memory is correct I have tags for Blitz, ajwilli1, Cale.

Awesome matches with jswilli and his wife. Also someone was having trouble finding the peanut butter.... :dunce:

Map Pack 6 Out today! (if anyone is still playing) :rolleyes:

This latest map pack adds Panama Canal to the set of Squad Deathmatch maps and Laguna Presa to the Squad Rush mode.
 
I've been waiting for a good opportunity to play BC2 but it hasn't came up, I really wanted a blast at those in VIP pack 5 (the big team games appeal to me far more then squad ones). Pack 6 doesn't interest me at all for the same reason as why I want to try 5, but it's good that they're still supporting the game even if only updating playlists essentially.

I think when Vietnam gets released it will respark interest in the game, Map Pack 6 doen't interest me either. I prefer Conquest and Rush over Deathmatch and Squad Rush.
 
It will be interesting to see what exactly is included in the Vietnam pack (and how much it'll cost) but I'm certainly interested. I also fiddled with my router settings today and for the first time in a long time I got to play a full round (whilst I'm at home anyway) and it was a loss! Of course... I was playing with randoms so to be expect but it's good to know my connection appears to be fixed.

When you kill someone, and they respawn you pretty much get another set of points when someone kills them. It might be within a certain time of them spawning though.

Atacama is fun for me too, it used to be one of my favorite maps but it just got boring after awhile. I'm one of those circle strafing spawn killers though


I've been playing often again even though I'm pretty bored with it by now.. I am on 54 platinums or something and it's just getting old. Not to mention for like two days I was only playing late at night and pretty much only having knife fights or finding dead games

It will probably be $20. In fact I bet it will cost $20.

Onslaught was overpriced and was $10. So for 4 new maps and a Vietnam themed add on.. Definitely going to be overpriced.

I REALLY want to give it a go. I can't get over how fun 1943 was and it looks just like it, but BC2 style. But I have a feeling it's going to be out after GT5 which means I won't play it at all.
 
I'm hoping it won't be more than $15 but I'll prolly get it if it's $20.
 
WOW that looks really good..... But just as corey mentioned... If this comes out after GT5, I probably wont be playing it much...
