1080p !! Well i certainly havent changed it - unless the update has done something to it !
 
there is "jaggies issue" in BC2 Beta..
considering it is only 900MB download I think we should assume that the graphics (textures) will be better in full release (it is like with MAG, with every next build the Beta started to look better and better)..


EDIT : the Beta doesn't support 1080p , only 720p (I tested it with forcing the resolution through XMB).

Ok!

My PS3 is always set on 1080p, it should automatically downscale (tv as well) if a game doesnt support the full HD resolution.

My download was about 1.3GB or something !!

I'm now experimenting with swapping with mechanic or assault. I tried reckon but I'm not good at sniping without being seen. I'm not good at all. :p

What an intense firefight there at one moment! There was at least 5 or more from each side converging at one point, just pouring lead at each other within close range! About 10-15 meters! ...i think i died and was revived 2 times there lol. Headsets are needed for communication! I wanted to flank those guys from the side/rear but no one was going with me! Sure is fun though... :D

Great action, a couple of guys actually tagged along with us. You can really dominate with teamwork in this game, just need a way to communicate. Would be nice to have those old commands back in BFModernCombat days on the PS2. Or just buy a headset.

They are both different... I am really enjoying both games alot... I can happily jump from one to the other in an afternoon.

Getting into a team in either game is very rewarding, the game play of BC2 appeals to me more with a single map presenting various combat scenarios as you progress.
The sounds in BC2 are sensational, the vehicles have always been a strong point.

When the full version comes out its going to be really tough for me to decide which to play.... especially considering GT5 is due the same time.
 
Right... I like the prefer the pace in BFBC compared to MW2. And i cannot stress it enough, but the sounds are just amazing.

Great session :D Not my best rounds K/D wise, but i did top the scoreboard once :D

Btw, what rank are you guys up to? I'm on level 22. I got a red dot sight add-on on my medic kit. It really stabilizes the recoil of the machine guns for some reason... gave me 6000 pts last night.

Yes, you'll need one to download it, but once you have done that, you can play it on your EU account:tup:. That's how I got into the beta.:)

Hope to see you guys on the Battlefield soon! Just got back from Texas for Thanksgiving and a Deer Hunting Trip. Been a crazy month, my 55" Sony died a few weeks ago so I have been playing on my 32"👎. Last night my launch 60gb PS3 got the "YLOD" for the third time! Anyways I found a site online so I can fix my 6 LED blink of death on the TV and hope to get the part ordered tonight. As for the PS3 I am going to backup the 500gb HDD and transfer it to my other PS3 so it will be a more reliable console. I got to play the Beta before I left, I like it and some teamwork while playing would be great:tup:. My son played for awhile the other night and was literally cleaning up the map, he was unlocking stuff left and right. His PSN is ajwilli1 if you want to add him. See y'all on the Battlefield.....

***UPDATE*** Parts on order for TV only $23 for two Thermal fuses (1 spare) and shipping. PS3 has been revived from the dead for the 3rd time, I reflowed the CPU/GPU for nearly 5 minutes total this time. The HDD swap was a flop, none of the data transferred to the new PS3 during the restore process. Currently reverting back to the 500GB in the 60GB machine and restoring the data so I don't lose anything. The EA protection stinks that you can't save your game data. See Y'all

Really ? There are so many opportunities to play this map in so many different ways.

Still a heap of replay value in this for me.
