Ya, it was fun while it lasted lol. My internet connection isn't the best which often times results in my involuntary leaving.

I will try to post my slr tune up in a bit.

Is this your way pf saying your back.....

Quite the opposite lol. I really don't have much interest in dragging in gt5 anymore. Kinda pointless until there is a tree and proper timing system. Maybe GT6...... Anyway, with all the cheating, arguing, and drama I barely have any interest in this site. So I may as well post some tunes for people to use and enjoy to help even the playing field by bringing the rest of the public closer to the "pro" level of the gtp drag gods.

I've been feeling the same lately. GT5 is getting really stale if you ask me.

I havee been doing various drag comps and the daily thing murder inc drag teams does to stop it from getting boring. Slash you needto do it the next time we do it.

You say that you are "not sure how the update has effected it".. so how old is that tune? When was that 8.787 picture taken? Now, the R35 TC is capable of 8.76's...

You might want to re-run it, it may even be 0.010 faster, or so... the new update actually improved alot of the TC times, in my experience / style of tuning.

Probably more like 8.75 or 8.74.

I stated it was my submission from Nuke's comp, which was held quite a bit ago - before any of the updates that changed ride height/aero and whatever other physics. Here is the link to the post which I submitted this time. As I also stated earlier, I really haven't any more interest in dragging in gt5 until there is a competent system in place to do so. That competition was pretty much the last time I dragged or tuned. The little time I do spend on gt5 is mostly spent on tuning for the seasonal events. The tune may be slower or faster due to the updates. Idk though.

Yeah but what I was meaning was, that exact same tune just ran in 2013 with no changes will likely be 0.010 quicker, just due to the updates! Good tune nevertheless bud.

Oh, I was under the impression that the updates had made tunes slower. May have to check that out. Thanks. 👍

Okay, I spent a few minutes and did a couple passes with my '00 SVT Cobra. When I last ran it (before updates) I was running 9.894. Now it is running 9.912 with no adjustments. Is this in line with your time differences post 2.09? I looked and couldn't find anything conclusive as to what affects 2.09 actually had on drag racing as far as times being faster or slower, just that downforce and ride height had been affected and offline/online physics were closer.

This isn't a 3K team last time I checked. They might have some tunes, but Kenny is a 1/4 mile tuner. Or at least i thought he was.

a huge thank you. my chevelle runs 9.6-9.7s

No problem, but like Veyronrt said it won't run that time without hacks- not to mention the tune posted was only capable of very high 9.8's at the time which was a good many updates ago.
