This is a tricky question to answer. :boggled:
I personally can't, because I don't have GT5:P.

However, if you'd care to elaborate on what you mean by "best", then I'm sure some of our other members can help.

What do you want? Best for overall top speed? Best for handling? Best for acceleration?
See how subjective "best" can become?

Please elaborate and we'll do our "best" to see what we can do to assist. 👍

1) S2000 Turbo
-Good downforce, fast and lightweight
2)Ford GT Test car
-Fast, high top speeds, good for Daytona and HSP
3)Viper tuned
popular, fast, good for Daytona and HSR
4)Lotus's
Slow, but really good downforce which makes up for the speeds in the corners.. I beat GT's with the lotus on HSR.. ;)

Start there. They are all fine cars..Get one you like then save some more to get another.

Corvette tuned? Very fast, lightweight, high top speed, good grip - if you can tame iut! 👍

the ford GT lm test car. as long as it is tuned correctly!!

the tuning guide is in my sig line, with these settings it is fantastic to drive! way faster than the competition and you will get alot of use out of it as you go through the S races

:tup:I use the Amuse S2000 alot, and it makes winning races easy, it's more stable than most cars, although not all, and has good cornering and top speed, you can win most 700PP events with it.

id go with the tuned vette. its a beast of a car at first but once you learn how to take it thru the corners it becomes a awesome car and can easily win any race if you push it hard enough.

I'm reading good comments about the tuned Corvette and I can't understand it. One of the first cars that I bought for online, was exactly that one because I always loved it, but in my opinion that car isn't so good because it has a problem, his acceleration: even with the gears all "shorted" to get the best acceleration, and the final gear totally at right too, it doesn't get any chance to be fast on the circuits because on 6th gear it's just so slow and even on the previous one the other cars have better acceleration.

In fact, for me that's strange because on GT5P seems to be that many of the cars have much top speed but not much accelereation even when you've set all the gears to top acceleration and less top speed. In fact, same cars on other GT previos games had better acceleration than on GT5P I think

keep playing and earn 1700000 more - and you can get the best car of the game ;)
but it depends what track and race you enjoy most - I like the tuned Ford GT test car - 300000 - it's in your buget

I,m a bit bias to this because as soon as i discovered the Viper Tuned car i stuck with it as it performs superbly on the long Daytona runs with unrelenting power but also handles pretty well on circuits such as Suzuka. Although having tuned and tuned it to death i have fianlly got a car that can produce wins and top 4 finishes.

As mentioned overall its a hard decision but a simple case of once you get it live with it and develop it all you can by testing and testing and watch those times tumble !

Good Luck !

F430 is super sweet car! i love it, most of the time i am in top 3 with it on HSR. its competitive with the tuned cars :)

Hello,
I just earned 300,000 cr and want to know what the best car to buy for that money. Thanks

I hope this is the best answer out there and from what I can see from the posts above my point is proven.....

There is no best car.

It comes down to how you drive and tune your car for your style of driving.

EX.
Z06/Tuned great for high speeds, won't use it on sharp turns
116R/Tuned great for turns but you will be taken at high speeds.

Pick a track, buy a car and try it out for that track. Play a lot online, make a lot of money, get better at tuning by learning from what you are doing.... and before you know it you will own every car in every color!

So the answer is..... a question..... what track?

i just set it so that i dont worry about 6th gear. even on daytona i cant reach it with out having to do some serious drafting then im only in it for about 2 seconds before down shifting so i just set my gear ratio so that i never have to worry about 6th gear and it works more as a 5 speed then a 6 speed.

hmmm... I will have to try this myself. I usually use the F430 in the HSP and got the Z06/Tuned to see what I was up against online. I used it for about 5 races and went back to tuning my trusty F430. Good call, I was mad that I couldn't drop 6th gear down to the 200 range.

...I agree - play a lot online - it worked for me. I made 1.2 mio this morning in 4 1/2 hours now I own the F2007. Awesome !!!
