I think the best car for your money has to be the Viper ACR. Its 100k exact, 610 HP and only 1300 KG. Plus it can be modified to 1000 HP.

Corvette ZR1. I would be lost without it, especially since I race modded it

Same, I have used this for the American extreme event, and also the dream championship in A-spec & B-spec. Truelly a brilliant car with RM.

I would go with a Nissan GT-R '09; Legendary Japanese muscle.

Not only is it legendary, but as far as I can tell it's pretty much untouchable by anything less than a purpose built racecar (and even some of them will lose).

A full tuned GTR spec v will outpace Fully tuned versions of 458, ZR1, LFA, Scuderia, Gallardo, Murcielago, SLS, and it will even go faster than a Zonda R around some tighter tracks.

You just gotta tune out some of that under under.

What about the Toyota Altezza Race Car? only 35000 credits in used car dealership, and put about 100000 in it and its the bomb diggity.

Stock: i'd go with the 458 Italia

Viper has always been strong in GT. The Viper ACR continues this, and it "cheats" because it doesn't have the drag of the real car.

corvette z06 rm, I bought it a few days ago and recently bought a zr1 rm, the with the z06 rm i managed ~1:27 on laguna seca, zr1 rm managed about 1:24 but thats over 400k with mods

Audi R10 TDI Stealth ,upgrade engine and exchange petrol:sly:

he is asking for <400k and the no stealth version cost around 5mill

ill exclude lambo's and corvette's because of their poor handling.
the battle is between LFA, GTR, FORD GT, 458 and Viper ACR, i cant decide..i like em all :)

Don't know about 400.000$, but Viper ACR is the best deal in game.

The cheapest supercar and in real life it beats anything with wheels on Nurburgring.

In real life GT-R is boring and heavy fast car, ZR1 - overpowered muscle, ACR - don't know, haven't read in deep reviews. Too bad there is no Miller & Pratt Corvette in game, this is the closest thing to C6R you can get (for 250.000 bucks)

96 Lotus elise and race mod it and buy everything else for it. I'm not the type of guy who needs some 600+ hp car to love the crap out of it, so the Elise is amazing for me. the wheels come off the gorund from so much grip. It beat my top lap time arounf the top gear track by a second too. Thats a 262 hp Lotus vs a 640 hp Mclaren f1.

to say a lambo has poor handling is pretty crazy. My gallardo drives like its on rails. All you have to do to get rid of its understeer is buy the adjustable dif and set it to mostly RWD.

Viper ACR more bang for your buck and does hold its own really well once you tune it, also same goes for the SLS amg and you get that very nice style. :P

They're Cr1m...

And it costs 800,000 to fix the things up :) I know i had to fix mine today after letting b spec bob use it for the all stars series and a few other races.

Italia is a sweet sweet car, lacks the sheer grunt of the 599 or the enzo, actually gotten the 599 around nurburg faster than the enzo....but the Italia is just so balanced and responsive makes it a joy to drive period, where the other prancing ponies you really need to respect their limits or your going into a tree.

And the Italia just looks damn sexy, win Italia.

i have FULLY modded f430 scuderia, Gallardo, GTR 07, 599, ZR1 RM

my favorite out of these 2 drive is the f430 but if you want a car to get through A spec id go with the ZR1

The Italia gets my vote as well. Haven't tried fully tuning it but partially tuned it was still very manageable. I'd put the Scuderia a close second. 599 is pretty reasonable as well. as is the normal 430 (there is one isn't there... I forget!) as well.

Not really tried my LF-A to any extent yet. Not totally convinced.

For some reason I had problems with the Gallardo in that it seemed very twitchy. I even made sure it had Racing Softs on.

ZR-1 and Race Mod (about 360K total). This adds the transmission, suspension and weight reductions (as I found out when I RM'ed my Golf IV GTi). Buy some suitable tyres and adjust the engine as you need more power. Can be a bit of a monster fully tuned.

Biased, but Nissan GT-R Spec V and then mod it to hell and back.

The RM Corvette handles nicely, dunno what you're smoking...

I would say what I recoomend but I don't want a 1000 people copying my style online so I keep it a secret! :P

Found it difficult to choose between the Scud and the 458 for the Ferrari race on Monza, especially with the 458 being cheaper!

Went for the Scud in the end, but still don't know how they compare. In A and B Spec, the Monza race was very close with the Enzo's closing in on the fast straight sections, but the Scud being quicker through the chicanes.

Gallardo is probably a bit less twitchy than the Scud, which I have spun on a few occasions...

Ohh, and for many of the "supercar" races I have used the Shelby Cobra - because of its age it qualifies on classic super / muscle / race car races as well as being pretty potent with the current crop of high performance cars. Bit of a monster to drive though - mine is at 750 - 760bhp at the moment. DO NOT press any pedals unless travelling in a straight line. AWESOME quick though.

Is that right??

Are we having to pay to fix damage? I didn't think that was in yet...

B-Spec Bob bent the front of my Gallardo, but still won the race, and it was back to normal next time around....

Eventually you will need to do rigidity improvements, if you crash a lot I guess it could affect the price?

I was genuinely thinking people would mainly suggest 1 car, there's a lot of suggestions for the 458 & Scuderia, a few people have said Gallardo or Murcielago SV, there's talk of the LFA, Shelby Cobra, Viper ACR and a few others too..

So basically, there's loads of awesome cars and you guys know what to suggest as much as I know what to buy

For the record I have a ~700bhp GT-R that I just did the All Stars in. Fully. Sick.

I was pleasantly surprised by the 458 Italia, thought it was a lot to spend on one race but have used it quite a bit.
The RUF's are a handful but I love driving them and they can be tamed with a few tweaks, I tend to use the CTR2 if I can.
