Today I was jamming out to "Fox On The Run" by Sweet.

I have a nice audio system in my car and it sounds really good when I play my FLAC CD rips on it.

My favorites have to be
Static X - The Only
Example - Stay Awake
Bloc Party - Banquet
Disturbed - Decadence
Kagamine Len - Mr. Taxi
M.O.V.E - Dog fight
Chemistry meets M Flo - Now or Never

An awesome driving song is Yummy Trip by Solaya. It appeared in GT PSP. But maaan! Every time this song comes on I just want to cruise. Its really tranquil, like an oasis, but it also has that vibe going on pushing you to win.

I've always thought of these as great driving music.

The fifth word on the album is the name of a car. Come on!

At the moment these are my three favourite songs for hard driving. They're surprisingly different from each other, but each one has a nice, steady feel that allows you to get into a good rhythm. They sound fast, if that makes sense.

I just went through the whole thread. May I ask how "Don't Stop Me Now" never came up? Because that's DAMN fine driving song.

My favourite driving songs

The Heavy - How You Like Me Now

The Chain Gang Of 1974 - Sleepwalking

Panama - Always

Genesis - Justice

I have huge playlists, ordered by the time of the day or the mood I'm in. Still, nothing will beat that 1st of August when I was cruising by night after a long day of joyful right pedal smashing... top down along the Leman lake, there were fireworks on the other side, thunders on the horizon, and this song kicks in :

That made for the most enjoyable relaxed driving ever. That gave me chills.

Domo Arigato Mr Roboto!!!!! :D
Thank you very much Mr Roboto!!!!

Secret secret Ive got a secret!

This has been one of my favorites since it was included in the US release of GT2.

And another classic...

I don't know why but hearing these two songs in succession while driving
through a cold wintery suburb the other day just felt so appropriate.
The sun was setting, hardly any people outside and it felt like time was standing still.

Anything from Bohren & Der Club of Gore is perfect for a long night drive on empty streets:

Basically any of this makes for epic driving music:

I was watching Skyfall a few days ago and 'Shanghai Drive' instantly became a favorite.

Got another few songs in Painkiller by Judas Priest.

Also got Never Been Any Reason by Head Eat. Dunno about this one, it just kind of works. Can't describe it any other way, especially in the middle.

Nice lists, I'll be driving to a few.

Here's a few tracks I've been driving to that haven't been mentioned yet:

Runaway - Bon Jovi
Don't fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac
The Pretender - Foo Fighters
Don't get Me Wrong - The Pretenders
Shot Down in Flames - AC/DC
