i got the f430 scuderia, tuned it a bit and came 1st. that was my first attempt at it aswell.
plus even if you fully tune this car it will still be around 400 or 500,000 cr less than a standar enzo.
The 458 is by far the best factory Ferrari. The Enzo actually is slightly slower, but anyways I suped up my Enzo and used that. Cant race Ferrari F1s, the fact that you cant break their virginity is so fustrating.
I used a Ferrari 458 Italia not tuned and no helps...only ABS 1 and i did it at the first time.
In B Spec my driver was so bad that i had to buy a F430 Scuderia and made some tuning on it for win at the last corner with the enzo...of course my driver was one of the worst in the game ...then i tried with other and makes at the first time with the 458.
All the Ferraris in that race are tuned up, so if you want to use the F40, you should tune it up some. Then if you want to be able to take those mods off later, then don't buy anything that lightens it except a CF hood and don't use Stage 1+ for hp, just in case you didn't know.
I personally used a maxed 458. After I was done with that race, I sold it and bought another one later because I ruined it.
B******s, cant get round in this F 40! Tuned to second stage, sports soft rubber, and still get beaten by another F40! I tried taking TC off ( it was set to 1) and then cant get out of first gear! Put that back on and took ASM off and just span out, several times!
You might have to tune the F40 a lot if you want to win this. If you still have the 599, tweak the suspension a bit and give it a try. By the way I completed this with a F430 scuderia.
Absolutely love the 458. Definitely the best car I have in my garage in terms of fun and beauty. I'd get the 458 cause its cheaper and lightning fast. Tires and suspension is the only necessary upgrade. It has some stubborn understeer at low tight turns but other than that it is totally worth every penny. I beat the first two races on the Super Car Festival with it stock.
You might have to tune the F40 a lot if you want to win this. If you still have the 599, tweak the suspension a bit and give it a try. By the way I completed this with a F430 scuderia.
No I sold the 599 ages ago, didnt like it. This F40 is a right handful on the Cavallino race with no aids on- with aids it cant keep up. I took it in the Italian Festival race in Amateur or Beginner just to see and it does Rome great- the cobbles help. Then London for an easy if wall- bouncing win. Good thing I have Damage off else it would be in bits now. Actually I should put damage on and thrash it!
. Don't forget about the tyres or else you won't be able to control the car
