If GTA 3 had VC vehicles and guns then it would be way better. of course it wouldnt be GTA 3 anymore. As for the others ive played best part of 10min on all of them, i was too young really and parents wouldnt let me play anyway

Well I played GTA 2 a fair bit with Blake.

Well, I liked a certain GTA 3 gun more than any other: the AK47 (my favourite gun in real life).

But I agree with what you say, although I wish Vice City had the Kuruma.

the one thing vice city has above gta3 is the dodo.... thats one of the best things about vc.... i could (and do) just fly around for ages just fly round the islands........

also the cops on gta3 are alot better..... well if you call being stupid better.. they are just so dumb on gta3.

The AK-47 is a really great gun, and I used it a fair bit on missions in GTA3 (mainly 'cause it was autoaim and I was lazy back then). The Kuruma was a great vehicle, I loved that sooo much, lol.

i actually liked Gta 3 better for some reason i think it was the little touches like the smoke out of the exhaust and the people crowding round dead people little things like that. i cant really explain much why i like it better vice city has so much more to it.

Well yeah, I know that Vice City has moer features, improvements, and what-not. But GTA 3 just had the feel and a few things I enjoyed more about it. Especially the Storyline and AK47.

The feel of the City was superior to Vice City. Although, I'm not saying I don't or didn't like Vice City. I played Vice City longer than GTA 3.

I thought the GTA III storyline was kind of daft. It had no real plot. It was just a random series of missions for random bosses and you end up getting revenge on someone who just pops into the plot on a couple of occasions for no apparent reason.

At least Vice City had a coherent central storyline that fitted together neatly.

It didn't help your character didn't speak either. It made it so you could invent your own background to the character but the story suffered for it.

I realise it had no point really, but it was underground, most of it was Mob-like, and that's why I liked it mroe. Vice City's storyline was a little boring for me.

But now that I've played San Andreas...who cares?! This storyline is by far the best.

It didn't make much difference to how I enjoyed the game, but there was no real plot at all. It would have been a bit better if they'd given Fido the motive of trying to get revenge and working it into the plot instead of just tacking it on at the end like an afterthought. Besides, I grew up the 80s so I loved the whole theme of Vice City so that appealed to me and I liked the fact there was an actual plot with a point to it and it evolved in a sort of sensible way.

But now that I've played San Andreas...who cares?! This storyline is by far the best.

You haven't finished it yet. Maybe he gets abducted by aliens or it turns out it was a dream all along...

I grew up in the early 90's, listening to most of the bands from San Andreas (particularly on Radio:X), so that's great for me. Plus I used to get around alot in the early 90's (travelling around with my Dad's band and missing half of my Primary Schooling) so it's all awesome for me.

The 80's is just fun to me, but GTA 3 provided some Underground Mob-like stories and gameplay, so it was a much more serious approach to me.

I enjoyed both games anyway, so I'm not complaining about Vice City. I played more Vice City than GTA 3.

I agree that it would have been great to have a proper storyline for GTA 3, where it was more about the character, but the Mob-feel to it was really appealing to me. I grew up obsessed with the Mafia, so I could relate most of the Mobsters to the older-day or Movie counterparts. Which was fun. Vice City was just boring to me. Plus I don't see that much of a Storyline to it anyway. It seemed like he wanted his Money back, and then just got side-tracked along the way and decided to take over a City. Which was great, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't exactly Hollywood material either.

It was, like GTA 3, to me, a bunch of random people giving you jobs, and Tommy getting the occasional phone call from Sonny.

It's funny though, if you do the Cone Crazy thing at the start of the game and max out your money, Sonny calls asking for the money and you say you're still trying to get it, when you have more money than he lost, stupid linear storyline
