Im not sure about PP but I suspect the Elise 111R RM would be in with a shout.
The Evora is a very good car too.
Both can be bought from the NCD, and these would be my first ports of call.
I haven't done much with Lotus's yet though.

I've had a lot of success with the Type 72. That was quite a gem to win in the Lotus Top Gear challenge.

The VX220 Turbo.:)

Any of the Lotus street cars would work pretty well in this PP range. But, it kind of depends on the track. The Elise is just awesome on Tsukuba and Autumn Ring, but not so good on High Speed Ring or Daytona Road Course.

Buy and tune up several different models so you can have the right car for the right track.

PS. The Vauxhall VX220 Turbo is (In Real Life) manufactured by Lotus, so it should be a car you consider too.

Mortorsport Elise 99 on most tracks, if you get to a course with very long straights and of the 350 V8 would be better.

Motorsport Elise will dominate most other Lotus cars, and anything within 100hp of it. One of my favorite cars to run

Elise RM is very good, Evora is too and when tuned a bit will turn amazingly (although be a bit twitchy/jumpy on a track like nurburgring but you could expect this from short light cars.). I take the evora to 550pp road cars and it smashes.

I believe the Evora is one of the best all around cars in the game and the best all around Lotus as well. The 111R is excellent too, but will struggle a bit on the longer tracks. One thing you can try is to add ballast to the 111R so you can up the hp. Top speed is highly dependent on hp. So a lighter, lower powered car at 500 pp will corner better, but a heavier, higher powered car will be better on back half of the longer straights...usually.

I find the Evora does both quite well. The older, non-premium Elise's suffer from one drawback...lack of a 6 speed gearbox. Not so much a problem in the V8 Esprit although it could also use an extra gear.
