Thing is, I couldn't be arsed to walk to school. I might see it when I'm out on the oval...

Yea, RX-3s were cool. In my Drivers Ed class, we use a simulator set up(too cheap to have actual cars, or new simulators for that matter)with a projection screen, and it shows a driver's veiw and there are about 20 "cars" in the room, consisting of a car seat, a steering wheel, a shifter, and a speedometer and stuff. We are supposed to go along with the film, although it's so unrealistic it's not worth it. Anyhoo this film is from like '81 or so, in it I've seen a '79 RX-7, Several RX-3s, RX-4s, RX-5s, and other cars(non-Mazda) which is pretty cool to see them new.

Becides the RX-3, I'd say the 323 GTX and GTR, MX-3 GS, and all of the Eunos cars in Europe and stuff. Cool cars.

I love my 1st gen MX-6 GT. Awesome car.

Our driver's ed class used real cars...but they were all automatics. I seriously think they need to teach on more manual cars, considering they're cheaper for a first car.

MX3 GS/SE baby. :D (mine looks a little cleaner since the avitar to the left..) Like I always say though, the 4cyl MX3's are MUCH easier to mod, engine wise, and cheaper.

A rx3 would be my pick for the best mazda.

I'd say the 323GTX those things were just wolves in sheep's clothing.

All the early RXes are very cool.

MX3 V6 is quite the performer, although the styling is a bit bland.

The Mazda Speed Protege is a hastily assembled, not-very-well-designed package. A RSX or SRT-4 would give it a solid arse-kicking.

The Mazda Speed Miata looks like fun, though.

i'll pick Mr. dude down the street's race miata.

that guy is a nut. 2 race cars out of like 6 miatas.

I drove a Mazdaspeed Protege and loved it ! Man, the suspension tuning on it was phenomenal ! And the engine was not weakkneed nancy either...sure the SRT-4 could smoke it, but the SRT-4 smokes anything in its class

...Mazda Speed Miata
You my friend, are the smartest man alive. Gold star for you.👍

My MSM has the absolutely perfect suspension setup that the factory could put on a car, as far as my tastes go. Very firm with no body roll, but not jarring. The Mazdaspeed devlopment team really knows how to tune a car...looking forward the the Mazdaspeed 6, as one may find a home alongside the MSM in a couple of years. :sly: The only complaint I have is that the turbo is tuned a bit too conservative from the factory to reduce warranty claims. It could easily make 200+ HP from the factory, but the went overboard on things like the knocks sensor's aggressiveness, etc. And the intercooler's way to small. The extra power makes a big difference from the 2 other Miatas I had before this one. It's much easier to throttle oversteer now:trouble: And I don't have to worry about being passed by minivans and pickups anymore:lol:

i dunno man....those old people's swollen feet really mash on the accelerator.

I really like the Mazda 6's and theres just something I really like about te Mazda 3 sedan.

I can't believe no one has said the eunos cosmo with the 13b-re or the 20b-rew. If rotaries were excluded my vote would definatley be the 323gtx though.

yes yes yes, definately the eunos cosmos. Can you actually believe that mazda had a 3 rotary engine car???!!!???

I'm currently drooling over the Mazdaspeed 6. The new 6's look great, and this one is a sleeper which may surprise many people pulling away from the stoplight. If I can find a job after graduation, this car is near the top of the list... :)

Onikaze
*zOMG!1!11 Roadster Coupe!!*

That is the perfect car, IMHO.

I mean, seriously, what more could you want in a toy?

Pop-up headlights and loads of fresh air. :sly:

How could you want a regular NA over one of these?

I can see the open top fun side of it, but imagine it the way I do.

CF hood and trunk, hidden rollcage, anti-roll bars, new shocks, brakes, matte black wheels, a new LSD, 6 Speed, and a Supercharger for low end grunt.

Then, imagine it sideways.

I've long had an idea of converting a Miata into a coupe by getting a body fashioned for it, oddly it looked in my head almost just like the NB coupe they made.
