Have black rims, a carbon black hood, and a black wing on back so I have a high contrast black and (insert color) thing going on. I think a matte would look good, but which one? Thanks.

I just painted mine matte red and I think it looks awesome!. I have dark gray wheels and the wing. No black hood.

I would keep it classy, probably with something like a burgundy/red wine looking color with black rims. Ditch the spoiler and carbon hood, it just looks like a ricer and kills it's beauty IMO. ;)

I put on the same upgrades and painted mine in a color similar to the HPA Audi TT => Orange.
Looks good, almost like the one from the signature edition 👍

AMG Monza grau magno. (Comes with car.) (M)

I have the same with a Matte Black paint. Looks pretty nice. Only on some tracks it looks like matte grey for some reason. Not sure if it's the lighting or my screen settings :)

Times like these when I whish GT had customising features like FM.

I doubt it would be THAT hard for PD to at least implement carbon Roof and carbon Trunk, kind of like how the carbon Hood is now, and would give a 2-tone effect which still stay classy within the GT limits.
And all it would really be is a color change, not even those hook thingys on te top of the carbon hooks.

Gran Turismo Blau < (the colour in the Mercedes-Benz Dealership) is the nicest shade of Blue ever.

Black with black wheels - Simple combination, makes it look like a beast.

Isotope Green ? < Lotus Evora paint, I think it's called that. That Bright Lime Green/Yellow matched with black wheels makes it look like the Mercedes-Benz SLS E Cell (Electric Version of normal SLS AMG) I use it for drifting and when the sun hits off the paint it looks great!

Just re-read the OP and I think Matte Black or Matte White (if that's a colour) would be best. However I strongly believe that you should also consider the ones above with no aerodynamics and a coloured hood.
I have a "GT3" Style SLS AMG with the Coloured Carbon Hood and Wings, and I have it in just a Glossy Black with the sane colour wheels, looks great!

Orange for sure, like the Signature Edition 1:43 SLS model.

Well I saw two SLS today at a Mercedes dealer, one was matt White and the other was gloss Black and I have to say that the black one looked far superior than the matt white, it showed all the creases and it also looked smaller.

Mine is painted in the Green that comes with the Lamborghini Murcielargo, looks great with black wheels
