Best Sounding Car?

Hi all,

This is a question i really want to know becuase a really good car that sounds bad makes the overall car bad - i feel - and i want to know what are some of the nicest sounding cars are in the game. In my opinion, i think that the Mercedes SLS AMG is the best sounding, but then again, i haven't driven all of the cars in the game.

Any ideas ?
 
Toss up for me between the Ford GT and Viper ACR. Then again I'm all for American muscle. Nothing sounds as sweet as the rumble and roar of an American muscle car!

all cars al low RMP sound good, i dont red line shift or beat the cars.... i shift at Mid range RPMS the cars sound better
 
The Dodge Ram fully tuned. No... wait... thats the worst sounding car because of the horrible confusion at PD to what a tuned pickup truck should sound like... which is apparently the same as a Honda Civic?

Nice sounding? I think the Zonda R sounds rather exciting?
 
Doesn't the Zonda R sound like the CIEN Concept, with the only difference being that the CIEN Concept revs at a higher RPM?
 
Don't know. I never used my CIEN cos it doesn't have interior, but i'm pretty sure Zonda R has awesome sound especialy with "behind car" cam.

This and the GT40 are grumpy mean sounding machines, same motor.

Did somebody forget the Shelby 427 s/c or the AC 427 s/c Cobras? They sound awesome until you decide to install a supercharger on it. Makes it sound awful.
 
Have to agree with majority here but my favourites;
Mazda 787, even tick over is awesome
Enzo a real banshee at full scream
M5 with just exhaust and intake upgraded (very like a NASCAR)
GT40 sounds like Thor gargling with rocks
Fully tuned Fiat 500 a real angry wasp
XJ13 I don't race this car I conduct an orchestra!

I think the GT40 sounds so ruined, almost like it's breaking down.
But I do like the sound of the Ford GT cars and the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car.

and LFA before the sound glitch happened.
 
Personally I think there are two very differing types of car sounds in this game, and as such am suggesting two.

1. for normal cars, which have the lower, guttoral sounds, I'd say the Shelby 427 '66 sounds as sweet as pie.
2. for Formula-type cars, which have the higher soprano notes, I absolutely must go with the Red Bull x2010 so far (I haven't gotten to the credits needed for a traditional Formula type car other than the FGT).
