So far I've been using SSR7 for online drag racing and it's pretty damn fun for drag racing. That tunnel is wicked.

I was curious if we can use the runway on Top Gear's test track or the straight on La Sarthe's?

the Le means track, 2005 version that has the long straight without the corners is the best measure for acceleration & topspeed.

That's what I was thinking too. I wish or hope that PD will release DLC tracks and give us a few nice straight tracks solely for drag racing. That would be perfect.

the semi straight on the indy road course, next to it their is a slippery yellow box to burnout on , and two lanes to drag, its about a 1/4 mile

Fuji from shadow to shadow is 407meters
Indy from Yellow marks to shadow is 370meters

Either way 1/4mile is fun.

fuji is gaining popularity, but the 2 best are Indy and the Tunnel. A couple do sarthe for fun, but its not a major strip, and there is a rare top gear, but those two are not reccommended

For all out top speed drag I prefer La Sarthe, and heading south is the most accurate measure of top speed when topping out before the corner. When you go northbound you usually read about 3 mph higher at the end because of a bumpy downhill slope. I get the same top speed at ssr7 as going south at La Sarthe, I just find ssr7 very boring for top speed runs....dragging through the tunnel is a different story though, It's a different kind of race requiring a different tune...not boring at all !

For the 1/4 I still go to Indy

If you go and YouTube "gt5 drag" most of them are Sarthe... WHY?!?
