whats the best or weirdest sounding car in the game?

I would say the viper concept=best, spoon civic=weirdest

Well nastiest has to go to an ITR tuned to the max and run round the Test Circuit. It's like someone's cutting through sheet metal with an electric jigsaw!

I have to agree on the insane sane of an upgraded Integra.

Best sounding car? That's rough. The Lotus Motor Sport Elise has a pretty cool, sound, I think, and the GT40. But I even like the sound of the NSXs.

As for the GT40, I think I remember reading somewhere that it was the sound they used in the movie, Bullitt, since they decided it was the best sounding engine ever. This was in '68, of course, and McQueen is driving a Mustang, but I think it's interesting. That and McQueen actually did the driving for the movie (and it's some serious driving, if you haven't seen it). OK, I'm getting way off subject, so I'll stop.

Panoz Esperante is best, closely followed by the GT40...

Wierdest has got to be the Escudo when it is running 1000 or more... It just says:
"Zzzzzzwwwwiiiiiiiooooooouuuuuffffff"

My favourite is the V12 in the Aston Vanquish.

IT's really nice , but it sucks that it sounds the best stock... if you change the exhaust it gets worse... Mazda 787B , Ford GT40 road car , aston vanquish , full-tuned turbo cars... those are mostly the best

I dont really like the sound of the mustang svt cobra. It sounds really low, but to quite. It needs a louder muffler.

I've only run the Vanquish stock - I've used it successfully in all the championships/races that require unmodified cars.

The 787B would sound way cool if the game sound matched the real life sound. It has a nasty throaty loping idle, and a dentist drill/torque wrench wine in the revs.

Of course I could be biased. :D

I don't have any real preference for sounds but I find the sounds of a fully tuned and opened Mercedes-Benz CLK55 pretty amazing.
