Better rain simulation

I want better rain simulation, the rain in gt5 was better as you actually have to use wipers. gt6, theres no need for wipers because all you get is rain drops

Also very noticeable in photo mode! I'd actually like to take photos of cars in the rain but, for some reason, the rain disappears when a photo is taken!!

The occasional drop is okay for 10% weather, but when you have 60% to 100%, the rain needs to be HEAVY to TORRENTIAL!!!

For example... REAL rain in a photo looks like -

@johnjoejohn and @scotte- you just beat me to it to report this issue. I was cockpit-view driving in 100% rain with water droplets on the glass, and the air full of raindrops, but in photomode, it all disappears. Even at 1/8000 of a second, there are no frozen raindrops, and a dry windscreen. And, yes, let's see the rain bouncing off the tarmac!

This was discussed in another post, the way the PS3 works makes it difficult to model rain effects correctly. Infact that post compared GT4 with GT6 and the rain in GT4 looked more realistic.

I understand they can't improve the visuals of rain, but at least make the loss of grip realistic for each tire.

Here's the original (taken at Brands Hatch in free run) and my first edit!

On a couple of the photo editor site there is a "texture" called water. PicMonkey has the better selection. Apply one then apply the other.

If i can recall, GT5 when I took a pic when there was rain with my bmw you can see the rain in the air and some on the windscreen i believe!

LOL same!! i saw the bottom pic first and was like "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?" i was ready to try it and see if the was rain!

That makes a lot more sense, now that you say that im guessing it will be better on the ps4 *if gt6 will be on or gt7 will be coming for that) and i dont remember gt4 having rain, just one wet track, you mean gt5?

Nah it really was GT4. There were a coupe of wet trials that you could do at Tsukuba and another track.

It's really just a wet track they had, no rain as I know of.

HOLD ON HOLD ON HOLD ON!I know you all said that when your in photo mode in race and its raining and when you take a pic you get no rain, well you got that all wrong! i just took a pic in gt6 with my bmw on the nurb in rain! i took a pic, and rain! im gonna send it here once i upload it from my ps3! it really is origanal! no editing! just RAW!
