I felt a bit bad laughing at that one, the car took a huge slam directly overhead the driver. Hope he's okay, but I did find it funny.

What a moron.

Sorry but from the start that wasnt going to go well.

And it's an Eclipse as well? One down half a million to go. 👍

It is a S14. This is a old footage of a drift meet in Japan. I have a higher res version somewhere on my comp.

Well even as a former "Silvia" 240SX owner I'm glad to see a riced one die. Own down, half a billion more rice mobiles to go.

Now, hang on a sec, "riced?" "Ricer?"

That looked like a serious (Drift) Competition car to me. That sort of thing can happen in any sort of racing. Driver makes a miscalculation, and...

In his defense, it looked to me like the car hit a dip that was in the track and it instantly threw is car to the right (if your in the car). The wheel could have possibly locked up too for a second. Or maybe he just messed up and now he needs a new car.

Doesn't seem all that 'riced out' to me, considering it is tuned for a purpose rather than just posing.

Ah my home town race 👍

F1 used to race on that same city track (though slightly longer)

The is the entrance to turn one of that dedicated drift track which is a long turn that requires a lot of entry speed and angle to hold a good drift and line, the violent flick was intentional but he misjudged it this time around.
