Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2

I like the Multiplayer a lot more in Modern Warfare 2, the Killstreaks have more variety I think, and I like the HUD a lot better. Oh, and the maps look awesomer. I like BO more though because I like killing teh zombies (and the MP perks are fair-ish).

As a fan of MW2's "Special Ops" mode I thought "Black Ops" would have it for sure, I mean, Ops is in the name!

I was wrong, that was the biggest disappointment for me. However, I think the maps are ok, the expansions were "meh" & the overall gameplay just reeks of NOT being from the same developer that made MW2 (Infinity Ward).

The Zombie mode is IMO booooooooriiiiiing & single player I haven't even tried (I'm not a fan of FPS games at all, I buy them to have some multiplayer fun with my friends)

Once again, this is just my opinion, I've heard many that thinks Black Ops is superior to MW2.

It's probably just me, but I think zombies were out of place.
I like playing Resident Evil games and Dead Island which is coming up seems a good timekiller, because it revolves around zombies, but it just doesn't fit in a CoD game imo.

BO. MW2 is just horrible to play. Noob tubing, people commando lunging you, using OMA. I rage quit at least way too many times on MW2.

BO may not be balanced, but it's more balanced than MW2. OK, there's always someone using AK74u/Famas etc. in almost every game, but the way they mixed up the perks really balanced it out IMO.

Probably won't bother with MW3, I hope treyarch make a WaW (or similar) game again. It was the best CoD, IMO. I've pretty much given up in CoD anyways.

I much prefer MW2 over Black Ops although lately mw2 is not as fun either. The host migration fails almost all the time now and I think in general I'm just getting tired of first person shooters. I'll be getting mw3 and will probably play that til I get bored of it lol.

Black Ops is the best in the COD series imo. Zombies is amazing in Black Ops too. But if modern warfare is your type of FPS, go for Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 2 is better IMO, better single player campaign and better multiplayer maps. I didn't really enjoy Black Ops at all and thought it was a total letdown which is why I won't be getting MW3 on a first day purchase this year, I'll wait to hear a few opinions first, but with Battlefield 3 out around the same time I doubt MW3 would be getting played much anyway.

If you like Zombies, get BO. Though this argument is repetitive. Like BO, MW2 has horrible spawn points on some maps. Like MW2, in BO there is some perks that work the same as in MW2. I hate BO because of online play but I love it because you don't have to level up to get certain perks or weapons. I hate MW2 because of leveling up, I have to wait for such and such. Do you prefer Modern weaponry over Vietname-Cold War weaponry? Both have similar weapons and attachments, though they have two map packs. So you might has wait for a GOTY versions. I play alot of both because of the different game types. MW2 has third person which reminds me of Socom but I wish there were hostage extractions than just killing each other in bad spawn points. BO has Zombies, which in my mind can be its own game.

And no, he is not hacking. Just hanging out at their spawn killing them when they spawn.

I find BO multiplayer simply horrible. Camper-friendly, poorly designed maps, outdated graphics and lack of variety in gameplay= boring game. Everything is so slow-paced, so lifeless in BO. Sure it's more balanced than MW2, but the counterpart is, it's not fun at all.

Only thing BO got right is the zombie mode, which I totally worship.

Hmmm... don't agree. To me zombies is purely throw away. That's opinions fer ya.

I know some who liked zombies, maybe loved them, but they were clearly in the minority on my friends list. Personally, I thought it was somewhat intriguing at first in World at War. It got old super fast. But that's just me.
