We saw in a few vids that they seem to have removed the invisible walls. I was just thinking does that mean you can fall off cliffs ect. now?

That would be pricey since we pay for repairs now.

Maybe that's PD's way of stopping folks ramming or going off-track when online.

As for career mode, I'm guessing the old favourite of restart the race will save you from those repair bills :)

There are still invisible walls, they're just further away from the track than usual. At streets of willow they seem to be really really far off the track.

Eiger without barriers:nervous:

I highly doubt that. Besides you can't go outside Willow Springs because there are gates that keep you inside the track.

True enough but what about heights and such within the track.

I hope they are moved back the invisible walls ruined the Top Gear test track in GT5.

As do I. I'm sure that it'd suck pretty badly online though (with or without the barriers)

The wall may have been removed due to the new physics. @Jordan may know more about this since he had some hands on with the final build.

Speaking of, I wonder if catchfences will actually stop your flying car...

You may be able to flip OVER walls, as I hit a sign in GTA2013 and it flew over the wall.

I believe he means invisible walls at tracks like TGTT ruined the track.
Exactly there are others but the one that you really notice them is TGTT.

I wouldn't get too excited about courses like Eiger having barriers removed -- I'd say there's no chance of that happening. Only on tracks where there are no barriers at all might they be free for us to travel. Even if Eiger only has thin strip-type barriers, they're still barriers as far as the game is concerned.

Some of you are forgetting about the "off track too long - reset to the track" feature we have seen on tracks like Willow Springs.

I'm just hoping that's optional, or can be made optional through an update

Welcome to the world of exclusive licenses. 'Tis also why we can't have Porsche (although I expect you already knew that)

I have always wondered if that a confirmed reason? It seems silly from a marketing standpoint.

It is silly, entirely pointless, and hurts everyone involved.
