Our little race was fun, it was nice seeing what both of our tunes equated to. I spun in certain areas that you didnt, and vice versa. I also got a free car out of it :D

It was more fun for you seeing you won every race but one. I saved the replay of the 442 race and I didn't realize how close it was till I hit the sand.

Hey theres me!(not sure which one though :O)

Haha that race was really fun. I was bearly getting used to the car. On the first 2 laps i was kinda all over the place but i managed to grab it on the third. On the model you gave me i powered it down to about 400hp and added some wider wheels and it was a bit more controllable.

That's right before I hit the sand so sorry to say you're in 2nd at that point in the shot. And that's not a bad idea adding wider tires and trimming the power adders. I didn't think I added much power at all cause I was going for a grip tune but that thing has tons of power already. Nice thinking.

Yeah i figured the car was around 3100lbs @ 400hp & around 530ishlbs of torque, so powering it down a bit shouldnt make to much of a difference. Ima start saving our replays so i can get some good dual action shots going on. There was a replay i wanted to save but i was sending you a message and the menus loaded :(. It was the one at Sazuka. I was the purple MRS you were the NSX and that one guy that kept smoking me was an RX7. We had a three way close call on one of the first few turns.

My submission for the 'No Theme' T10 Facebook contest

Unedited of course

Well thanks. It took a few tries to get that shot. I would upload them, check the exposure and go back and correct it till I got it right.

Shots that didn't make "Photomode Comp" this week:

I love this one below

Advanced Competition Entries that didn't make it:

And the Final Entry

The E63 seems to dark for my taste. The last one from the set is great though, it looks quiet real.. i think the fact that its not fully B&w adds to the picture.

That SL though:bowdown:. They came out really good. I think the second one is the best though :P

Those shots in the spotlight were the best I could do. I am right at the threshold. Any more exposure and the highlights would get the halos and any more brightness, the blacks would turn gray.
I was back and forth about choosing the second and third image of the SL but the third looked closer to the image I was originally after. But I sort of ignored how the BMW looked in each and I like how it looks in the second image. If I could go back, I probably would pick the second one. But they're both pretty good and I hope I have a winner this week. We shall see.

Win or lose, those SL shots came out great. I was going to shoot one for the comp to but i forgot i set that one up haha.

ImaRobot and I messed with a pair of his tunes on Laguna Seca. It was a very close, heated battle.

More photos coming soon!

You know whats funny. I had one that was almost the exact same angle. It was over exposed though :(

I like the last set of the E63 especially the coloured in the tunnel..but the others, the one that didn't make it for the PMC, it's quite dark..

Love those advanced comp entries. Great sense of speed! Muted color pallet works great in these as well.

The closeup of the tail light is darker than it should be. Maybe the first one is a slight darker than it needs to be. But the closer of the back end shot is spot on. After I read your comments I went and plugged in my monitor calibrator and recalibrated it. If you feel that second image is too dark, i'd adjust yours. I can see seperation between the rear fender and right rear wheel. I can see detail under the body. If you cannot, then yours is too dark.

Mine was a bit overexposed too. Magic of editing. :D

I came about that on accident. I was testing stock colors of the car in Homespace cause I wanted to see how each of them looked in black and white before I went out shooting. As I started bringing color into the image, I noticed the reds came in first. I loved how that looked so when I went to shoot at the Alps, I shot most of pictures with the color slider around 6-8 and added a slight amount of sepia. I think it turned out nicely too. :D

You know whats funny, it looks like more of a cruise then a race.

This set seems like some kind of brochure for Honda. The 3rd and 5th one really does it for me. Looking at your shots im kinda glad mine were overexposed the first time because we had alot of the same angles haha. Looking back at what i tried to shoot from it, i notice my images are kinda bright.. Something i should probably work on.

You know what i found odd about the Civic? The grill seems really 2d and ugly when you get in on it.

Oh, you don't know pissed I was shooting that car. The grille is fugly. It looks OK up close but when the sun hits it, it becomes a mess. It looks more like it is a flat image cause they didn't want to take the time to render the honeycomb shapes. And those horizontal lines on the inside of the headlight housings. They are there in my car IRL but they are very thin and hardly noticeable. In the game, you can't get away from them. These two things alone make the Si look ugly.
Shooting the two cars kinda made me mad. Looking at the front end of the ITR, it is so much nicer than the Civic. Wish I had one instead! But I owned a '95 Teg for a short bit and that rear end is crazy boring. I can't stand it. The spoiler helps but not much.
I said I was going to reshoot but these are all images from shooting after the race. A couple of them I edited a bit but the two you said you liked are unedited. I guess I didn't do too bad but I figure I can do better.
We should setup another race soon. How about '69 240z vs '71 GT-R?

Yeah i think thats what drew me away from shooting it really, that and the lights as well like you mentioned. I like the rear end on Integras! I always loved the front though. It was a childhood dream to own one haha. My brother had a 95 Integra as well though so that probably had alot of reason for me wanting one.

Im down for that race though. I have both of those cars tuned to my liking, so i dont care which one i'd drive.

You joined my lobby and raced with me haha. There was alot of bumping but it was fun. I love the 99' Civic shoot too.

I know the username looked familiar. Honestly didn't have that great of a time. Either I got ahead cause I missed all the crashing or I was getting pushed around like a bumper car.

We were joking around most of the time then our energy died down then we started racing and drifting seriously.

All joking aside I have a cruise / race with a club this is serious racing so if you would like to join our club message Evomunk (Gamertag on Xbox Live) Link You don't have to join the club to race though. The link has some great information. The club is for Photography. Hopefully I will see you there.

Havn't posted for a while but good to see you’re still producing some great shots. Love the Facebook photo entry. But my favourite is the E63 taillight shot, fantastic detail

Keep it up 👍

The battle shots came out good. The two cars look perfect together on the race track. Cant wait for the final shots.
