Considering all the stuff that drivers like Maldanado and perez have done to each other throughout the season, no. But on the incident alone maybe it was kinda deserved. he didn't know he would cause such a crash, but Alonso's life was kinda in danger mid crash. 50/50 on whether he should have got it

I agree about Maldonado tho he should of had a ban ages ago.
 
MAL got a 5 grid place drop last year at spa for what was an intentional swipe at HAM in qualy. GRO gets a one race ban for an unintentional crash this year. Something not right there.

Anyway, looking forward to tonight's races. Have done no tyre wear testing so take care when going past me!

I had a go earlier and 1 stop is defo out and I even struggled to do a 2 stop.

Not good if you struggled with a 2 stopper. Will make it interesting though.

A bit ironic that before the F1 race, sky presenters were talking about how every one has become complacent about safety, thinking you cannot get hurt any more in F1. Think Grosjean may just be unlucky, they maybe have used him as a warning to the others that they will not tolerate any bad driving from now on.

Ok, was just trying to eek out an extra 5 minutes :p.

I should be ok for R1, pleaaaaaaaaase not a minute later than half 7 though, sorry to sound like a t**t :scared:
 
This viper oversteers and understeers at the same time, is that even possible?, id say i would like to switch cars but it aint happening, this viper is god awful, got horrible pace, didnt even get in 23s, virtually uncontrollable as after 8 laps it had NO REAR EFFIN TYRES!!! NONE! NADA! 0%! For those who were stuck behind me, i was driving carefully, only spinning the rears when in an accel matchup for placement yet staying 1 lap extra and i was behind by the half lap as i spun 5 times... what a horrible car! id love to be able to blame it on my driver style but im normally a tyre saver, or my setup but im running 5/5/5 yet nothing.

Tried to go 8 laps on the first stint... lost about a minute as a result :/ ..managed 8 laps on the next two stints though, so managed a 2 stop.

Still, since 7th was my best result by default all I had to do was cruise round to the finish. :)

If I hadn't have lost that time I reckon I could have been mixing it for 4th/5th place.

You still done well in 2nd 👍

I messed up race 2 on my 2nd stint, I got confused with what lap I was on and I've just worked out that I done 9 laps on 2nd stint when I wanted to do 8.

I did 7 on stints 1 and 2 as I thought the only way to get up the order is to undercut them (Was going for a 8 lap stint 2). Gained 1 place.
 
R35, send me your tyre saving setup and I'll tell you if you can improve it at all, also include your brake balance :)
