I'm considering widening the pit stop windows this season by a lap or two on both sides (how big dependent on track). For example, at GVE it's currently 17 laps and pit 7-9. If it widens then it would be something like 7-10, or 6-9. At tracks like Suzuka East where 20 laps is likely, it could be something like 8-12.

Opinions?

I like this idea but you may have to constantly remind everyone at the race lounge. Currently even if you dont know the window you could work it out. Half distance, plus minus 1. I think it makes sense to vary windows since there are varieties of race laps.

Long time no see. I've been and still am busy with exams, so I haven't been able to do test races and so on.
Just wondered if I could change my car back to the 330i if the 120i proves to be too slow. Before season start of course.

Hope they've been going well. Yeah sure, also if you find a little spare time you can always try out the 120d too. 👍

Your feedback would be useful actually, if you were to test both. No need for two 120's if one is obviously slower.

Don't forget, test racing tonight at 7pm! In Geeky's lounge as per normal.

We'll be doing this more seriously this time - proper checks and rules will apply.

Only thing to be decided is the track.... maybe Rome.

Anyone not in a team by the end of tomorrow will be automatically entered into the Independents' Championship for Round 1. Teams formed after the deadline will only be eligible for points from Round 2 onwards.

Racing probably won't kick off until 7.15 at the earliest I would imagine, which may be the case during the season.

I'm currently weighing up the Fords, and beginning to wonder if we should drop the two Standard models for Season 5 (or even this season). We've heard a lot about the RS eating it's tyres, and priesty I believe is feeling the ST170 is missing something compared to the Premium ST. Opinions?

Just also as a little note, I already have a couple of good car ideas for next season already 👍

Not really been playing much of GT over the last 2months or so I'm just abit rusty.

I'm getting abit bored of it now tbh, it's in desperate need of some new tracks and cars :(

I'm gonna stick with the series and I should be there pretty much every week but I'm quite looking forward to project cars/ps4 and GT6!! Haha

You'll only score points for the Team when you're replacing either jb or gedi, otherwise you'll score Independent points if both of them are racing. 👍

You can pull out of team v8 if you want 35 we won't mind :) don't want you to mess your Indy championship up just to help us.
 
5 days to go :D

I've got an important exam on Friday so a bit of light relief will be very welcome... hoping to win a couple this season as I've got a very good car/setup combo for once :)

(I will be doing mostly 'arrive and drive' though...)
 
I'm thinking iamrj7 is going to become an early casualty of the no-show rule, since I've heard nothing for nearly a month from him. Expect a full-time seat soon Rob!
 
The Lexus has been given a 50kg weight drop, and now is 1200kg.

Really it should be dropped altogether, because it's just a woefully slow car, but since MSTER is using it, it stays for now. I can't say it will be back next season.

I dunno how you BMW 330 drivers manage to win so many races! I admit I suck with FR, but this car is even slower in my hands than other FRs!

2.10 has apparently wreaked havoc with the PP settings! Fingers crossed all the cars are still even :scared:
