When he's replacing JB he is anyway. Not sure if he wants a different car when he races by himself, or not. If he wants the Mazda both ways then cool, I'm happy with that. đź‘Ť

I should add that if you're in a team you are allowed to run different models of the same manufacturer, but the manufacturer must be the same.

For example skengdigi is using the '04 Civic, and Weezy the '01 Civic. He could also use the '95 Integra or '00 Accord, that is legal since they're both in Hondas. đź‘Ť

Teams must run in the same body colour (more or less, extremely specific shades don't matter as long as your cars are both obviously one colour), but rim colours can be different.

I think there are multiple contenders. One of our rookies, hurleyman24, was really fast in his Focus on Thursday, so things look good for him. Then there's always killa, who is always very fast. JulleGaard is always consistently quick, and as you say, there's skeng.

Weezy says he feels more competitive too in the other Honda, and priesty has a fast Ford. I wouldn't rule you out either, considering you are defending champ đź‘Ť

oh yeah i think it will be close with you,skeng,KK,julle,jb(if he can make all races) i think the whole field will be close but i just think skeng will take it in the end.
 
Being one of the series 'hosts' I'll avoid putting all my eggs in one basket, but I do believe the title will be won by one of those names. I'm just glad to have drivers who turn up every week and participate, no matter how fast or slow - it's all good fun :)

I don't think I'll be in contention this time round - I feel like my motivation has sagged a bit, to the point where I'm a lower top-ten kind of driver. I'm just happy to swap paint in midfield this season. I doubt I'll make it three 3rds in the championship in a row.

Remember all that only your top 8 scores will count for the championship; your worst two rounds, points-wise, will be dropped.

I counted 8 drivers in the line-up who I know are very quick (not including myself :sly:)

Do you reckon I'll be on the grid for round 1, Rolo? If I make it onto the main list then I'm determined to finish every race

I think it's more than likely that you will. I'm sure at least someone will fail to show up for Round 1. My best advice is to be on GTP around 6.30-7ish on the day and hopefully me or someone (if not me) can let you know if there's room.

The '3 round' rule still applies, so if a driver misses 3 consecutive rounds without giving anyone a reason on GTP, PSN or wherever (unless circumstances are really against them at that time), then they are removed from the series. If they want to sign back up they'll rejoin at the back of the queue. đź‘Ť
 
I reckon whoever has 8 strong finishes will win. I've noticed that in the 3 seasons we've had, theres been a different drivetrain winning the champ each time. FF by jb, me in FR and gedi in 4WD. Although jb probably would have taken season 2 had I not taken him out in autumn ring :lol:
 
Question is, will an FF or FR car become the first repeat drivetrain winner? :sly:

I will not be able to race on the 17th because im going on a cruise in the caribbean but ill be there the next week hopefully

Yeah, pretty much. Race for the team when one of them is missing, and race for yourself when they're both in. When you're driving for the team I can let a reserve out of their shackles đź‘Ť

Show us what you can do! :sly: - although if you're as fast in a taxi as in a Viper then you'll be right up there :sly:

Looks like theres a healthy mix of tracks favouring certain cars. Tracks 1,2,3 6,10 are pretty tight and the remaining 5 tracks are pretty high speed. Although suzuka east may be a bit of both...Should be a good season...

It could be me but I'm taking a back seat for this one I'm just going to turn up and race as I haven't the time for setups and practicing each week.

I'm looking at all of these new BTCC cars with interest. Maybe there will be some new cars in Season 5...
