i've never run with tyre wear above normal......how bad is the tyre wear on fast??? will that mean more than one stop????

Same here. I have never used tyre wear above normal. I don't know how bad the tyre wear is on fast but this is probably something that I can test sometime soon.

Not sure, that's one of the main things that needs sorting out. Have done 12 lap runs at Madrid Mini where the tyre wear wasn't so bad even on Very Fast, so who knows.

Simple explanation is normal is x 1 , fast is x 2 and very fast is x 4

Remember its fuel and tires both .

Just fancy using Corsas for now. Real BTCC has the Clio Cup, but we already have a BTCC Clio and the Clio Cup has been attempted before on GTP, by paulmac I believe.

Attempted yes but work haulted my plans. Atleast I thought of a new unique series :). Still want to try find a day I'm off work to hold a spot race for it ;).

Btw I may be pulling out of this as I am taking up a space and have little motivation to race atm.
 
OT here but.. If I were to say I was off on the 20th (Wednesday) would anyone be able to make it if I were to make a spot race for my Clios? It would be either a 2 race format or one long race, by long I mean close to 1.5hours :p.
 
Hi guys,
I hate to do this mid-season but I'm going to have a break from GTP series, not just this but one or two other things I'm involved in as well

My motivation to practice and race every week is on-and-off, but it's mostly on a downward spiral. This series is great but I'd rather spend what little free time I have on other projects for the time being

I know I have a reputation for stuff like this but I've done something like 43 BTCC races and all the original tests last April so I've had a pretty decent run

And well done rolo for running this series so well 👍 Sorry again but I don't see much point in doing this if I don't find the fun in it anymore :indiff:

Hmmm i can relate Robbo:guilty: Personally ive been struggling for motivation for one reason or another for a while now so quite understandable.:indiff:

I read last week that killa wanted you to act as reserve for the eBay Motors team, and score points for them when one of them is missing, instead of scoring Independent points for yourself. What's the situation with that?

I thought he meant for me and Karsten to team up. I missed his next entry. I'd be happy to be a team member or fill in team member for Ebay motors. I'm all for it.

nova as you see fit, if you want to team up good, but i would understand you running for the indipendent championship too, or choosing to team up with a more experienced bmw driver.

i could have been of some help on another car but in this one i'm unable to give you any setup help you might need.

Thanks Karsden. I appreciate the understanding. I'm gonna go with killa's team as a fill in to try and help his team out, assuming that offer is still there.

Offer stands mate. eBay need all the help they can get to catch V8's. Good to have you on the team.
 
Just a heads up rolo but I might be leaving this soon and I've got good reasons but will make my mind up over the next week 👍
And before you ask it's not because of the car coz I think it's fine :)
