Hi rolo and the rest of the BTCC drivers it's been fun racing with you and winning a title, but my patients has ran out with this series and although I'd like to carry on and win another team title for the 2nd time I regret to inform you that I'm defo leaving and wish you all the very best 👍

Keep up the good work rolo and maybe if the races don't feel like bumper cars in the future I may return :) Toad out.
 
The hardest thing nowadays is finding clean drivers
 
Goes for me two Rolo regretably:guilty: I do feel a little lost with this series nowadays i understand its a tough line between fun and an organised serious event personally i was only ever in it for the fun:indiff:. Supporting the toads team if im honest was keeping me going but thats not an option now so i may aswell give up my seat to someone more dedicated.👍
 
Can't lose both at the same time... If the problem is the lack of a teammate to train and compare with we can team up, else see u another time on the grid....

Well, this means firstly that there are 2 spots open now (and possibly 3 if paulmac decides he's leaving too).

Secondly this means there's only really two full-time teams in the series at the moment. Therefore I'm considering whether or not to bring forward a new rule I was thinking of putting in for next season, regarding allowing teams to run different cars if they wish (but must run the same colour/rim colour so as to make it obvious). I may as well just throw the Teams game open at this stage, because a two-horse race isn't very fun is it? May as well try to share that horse pie....

I'm up for doing that. It happens in the real BTCC so I don't see why you couldn't do it here. 👍
 
Bear in mind though that if any independents form a team, they won't score Independents points any more.

So, I will allow new teams to be formed with different cars from now on, starting from now. Weigh up whether you'd rather fancy teaming up with someone, or having a tilt at the Independents' crown 👍
 
Also, do you reckon drivers would need to do a minimum number of rounds before I drop their scores? Say you've gotta do 5 before I drop? Or just drop your worst 2 regardless?

It was always the case that only your top 8 scores would count, in the Drivers' and Independents' championships, but that for the Teams' and Manufacturers', all 10 scores do. 👍
 
R35 why dont you and andy team up? that would be an awesome combo dont ya think?

Having done some testing, the Golf has been ditched (like it was going to be for next season anyway, but why wait) - Olly has been offered the choice of a new car.

If paulmac does decide to leave then I'm gonna offer Furi another car and ditch the Seat as well (again, a decision I'd already made for next season but am looking to bring forward).

May give the Clio another 50kg reduction after Monza, since that's the plan for next season anyway. Little snippet of info for you there :sly:.

Mid-season spec changes... lol, fingers crossed in S5 all the work is done and no more testing is needed ever again :sly:
