Welcome to GTPlanet, 87BuickGNX. Nice to have you here.
Sir/Madam (whomever you may be), you mentioned some of the same points I made in this thread. Now Buick alone isn't going to impress any one. I seen a Buick Regal from 1987 either last week or two weeks ago. The GNX is basically a tuner car for the road. Now before you think that I'm anti-tuner, allow me to introduce myself. I'm an auto enthusiast, so no matter what mods are done to a car, I respect it because it's just a car regardless of whatever is done to it. As I was saying, I think fans of the tuner culture will like the Buick GNX. Kind of think of the GNX as the Impreza/WRX STi. The GNX is a performance version of a plain-Jane Regal (or whatever the regular model was).
In fact, I even seen a Buick GNX covered in an unlikely magazine once- Sport Compact Car from a few years ago. Sure, GT4 will has NOS bottles and functional wings and such, but I think the tuner fan into most non-American cars will like this one, maybe even say this will be one of the few exceptions in terms of good American tuner cars. So I'm telling you. I'm 21, going on 22 in January, no license (yet), but I think GT fans into the tuner culture will love it or at least give it respect.
So when the game comes out, give it a chance. Buy the Buick GNX in GT4. If you bash on American cars, you might like this one. It's as much of a tuner car as anything out there today. So from an enthusiast's standpoint, go for it. Forget that it's a Buick. Forget that it's a big American car. Just buy it, race it, tune it for performance, and pwn the other five racers in the pack. Now go make it happen.
