I really doubted the game when I read the article and said he would have a game. But after viewing that. Sure made me really want to play it. I have a feeling is might be a good game.

But if you look at 50 Cent himself, he looks like one of those character's from EA's Def Jam Vendetta. You know, the clothes, big arms and hands, huge shoes. But meh. It looks like it'll be a solid hit.
 
Looks like the biggest POS. 50 Cent is such a reject. "What's mines is mines." :rolleyes: That game will be nothing like the trailer. The trailer is just designed to get people to go "That looks good, i'm going to buy it.". It'd be better with anyone else aside from 50 Cent, he's just got no talent at all and this whole game is a big gip to get people to like him and buy his music. Don't be sucked in people. There are better games available.
 
Intro movies don't say anything about the game. It will probably look and play like a crappy version of State of Emergency. If the game will be as good as his music, then that's definitely a reason not to buy it.

Since when does the main character make or break a game? It's never happened to me at all. I really doubt 50 will have any say in the coding, any say in the design etc etc. But if you want to express animosity because it's not the kind of music you like, go ahead and take you're daily recommended dose of close-mindtussin and go on your marry way. Looks to be a fun game.

Trailers are rarely any good to determine graphics. Attention to detail yes, but not always graphics. Mainly because they are heavily rendered compared to in-game pics.

It has nothing to do with rap music being in the game, my opinion is based on the fact that it is based on hype. Me supposedly being prejudiced towards this game because it's based around a rapper is nonsense. 90% of the music I listen to is hiphop and 50 cent isn't one of those artists because he's garbage. I only listen to a couple of rappers that were in Def Jam FFNY and I did like that game.... because they built it around a good and tested engine.


All I know this game is being put together to quickly cash in on the current hype.

You obviously dont like 50 cent. Just upset cause they dont make video games about people like busted.
 
Anti-Rap movement, people have so much prejudice, how can you say this game will be bad? Have you played it? No, you must be a programmer then? You judged by the type of people on who the game is build? Yes, you don't like rap? I suppose so. Do you like Black people? Doesn't seem so, you must be one of those rich guy that goes to NY and sees a black in Harlem and he's scared or he looks at him in superior fashion.

If it's your case, go see a therapist.

Being a premium member doesn't mean you are more important to the community than others are, remember that.

Even though I hate 50 Cent - he does not need this game to help him sell his album. He sold 1.1 million in a week with one of his album. That is impressive - and he made history. Even though I don't know how people can buy his garbage.

50 Cent - as said previous stated - is garbage. But this isn't about his muisc.

This game intro looks alright - but you have to admit - that the real version of this game will not look like this intro. From what I read and seen - this is not the type of game that is worth owning (unless you like 50 Cent). Maybe it's worth renting - who knows?
 
I'm not anti anything here, but I kind of agree with the nay sayers. Trailer looks ok, but I have a feeling the game is going to be average at best(it does look pretty creative though) IMO. Also, smellysocks' video was way more entertaining than the 50cent trailer. :lol:

Impressive indeed. Impressive marketing team pushing the album, creating the hype. It is definitely impressive to sell such a turd of an album to 1.1 million people while there are dozens, hundreds of better rappers just in New York already who don't sell this many units with all their sales combined.

Actually is the other way around. The game ain´t gonna increase his albums sales, he is gonna increase the game´s sales.

And I liked the trailer, but I would like to see some gameplay footage before judging the game. It may be a GTA or it may be a Driv3r, who knows...
 
People will always want for the biggest to fall down.If he wants the star that he was no one would be bagging on him because they couldnt care less. And if you dont like hip hop dont call him garbage just because the music is not of ur taste. Im not into grunge but i dont go around saying that they are poo.
 
The trailer looks sweet, game looks like its going to be a one hell of a action title. I will be playing it when it comes out. Plus I really like 50 Cent and I would assume his music will be in the game.

Second, Smellsocks, you're right. In your opinion New York has better rappers than 50 cent that don't move 1/2 as much. You just don't like 50's style of Rap, and that's a respectable stance. But don't say he's a bad artist because YOU don't like him. Think of it this way, how many prior artists can say "Hey, not only in the US and the UK am I the best, but go to Sri Lanka and everyone will say the same"
 
Nevertheless you can see within one second that this game will be very very poor
It's licence crap... buy a 50 cent album and a budget PS2 game of your choice and you have 10 times more fun....

Back to the trailer. Looks like a decently designed game. The game engine looks good, the physics (apart from his super jumping) and graphics are outstanding. However, the story looks reasonably pointless, and shows the lack of creativity, which entirely let down the game to me.

Physics: 7/10
Graphics: 9.5/10
Story: 1/10
Overall: 5/10.

Jimmy, that is a prerendered intro ... so... grafics are likely to be 3/10 and physics 2/10

Anyone who knows his hiphop more than the surface and is not a trend follower will tell you that 50 cent is just the hype of the moment. The only reason why he's pushing so many units is because he is Eminem-affiliated. Master P also sold a lot of records as well, but he's garbage as well. Sales don't prove anything in music, other than that you have a couple of radio friendly club singles, a good manager and a good marketing team. But this isn't even about his music, it is about his game. It will be a sloppily put together piece of digital feces which won't have any outstanding qualities at all, if you won't take my word for it go buy it. Don't come crying to me when it sucks, because I'll tell you "I TOLD YOU SO" like that rapper Chino XL who IS skilled by the way.

I saw other trailers of the game and the look good to. But It is probably a cut scene, the graphics will be as worse as GTA:SA I think

But I'm really gonna buy that game.
