It should work. Are you putting the code in correctly? It's "walmart" one word, all in lower case letters.

-> I just got the game 2 weeks ago and boy its awesome! I'll be 'round Paradise City soon as TQPI. :)

Just purchased today so will spend some time with it tonight.

Tried most of the codes but they dont work for me either.

Pheeww.... So far, Around 36% complete and 28+ hours clocked in (-:

Haven't spend too much time online yet, trying to get the offline mode completed (sort of) first..

This game is pure awesomeness and soooo much fun !....

I got the game on thursday and have clocked somewhere around 40 hours, kicking the burnout license, 60 cars or so. over 500 online takedowns aswell

oh yea flatspin 584 degrees ;)

get the hot rod and go down near the east shore airport, there's a curvy road there where you can jump a huge distance, flatspinning there is one of the online challenges

I would like cars to drift more in this kind of a game. But this still puts NFS to shame.

drifting in Burnout is absoloutely straightforward and easy.

if you want to drift longer, you cant turn with a lot of angle, keep the angle to a minimum.

In Revenge, white mountain, forwards, going up the Tunnel S turn and the 2 turns that coem before and after, I can drift the the entire thing without touching any walls.

In Takedown, that snowy european track, the 3 turns left up to the bridge past was fun too.

There should be more longer turns in burnout to tackle.

Hmm, it appears the prize for getting your elite license is lame.....

Well so far im enjoying it. Im on B licence at the moment with 11 races to go.

i just got the game yesterday, i always prefer racing sim games, but burnout is forgathering.. its really fun and enjoying :) (unlike NFS, racing wannabes lol)
i just pass my learners permit or whatever it was... it seems the game offers TONS and TONS of things to do.. and i like how easy to navigate thought the city and go online... well i haven't go online yet, but it looks easy,, press left or right and you in ..
so how is the online experience? and how some of the challenges work? when i play this TAKEDOWN mission that i had to take down 4 cars, the AI always appear behind you or in front of you wherever you drove.. but online i bet this will be really hard since you just cant appear in front of the guy or behind him if you loose him right?

oh and add me in people :)
NoxNoctisUmbra ( PSN US)

online works differently than offline, as far as takedowns go you pick them up whenever you wreck another player, if you created the room you can also set up races, where you pick the start and finish and any checkpoints that you want to add. You can also choose challenges which everyone must complete in order to win the online prize cars. I have a blast online, truly one of the most enjoyable experiences in any online game if you play with the right people.

-> There was one time that I hit 98% on the power park! And I don't have a clue on what had just happend. :boggled:

Which reminds me. I got 100% power parking completely by accident the other day. Wanted to do a u-turn and got t-boned into a space perfectly!

thats the same thing I did, very first power park and it was 100% and by accident

I went online, so far it was my second day yesterday. And surprisingly Mic's work really well. And many people do talk, and I remember in other games, not many talk. We had this group of 6 or 7 and did stunts and those little missions, it was a blast, and a made a new friend YAY! haha
And about the eye toy feature. When I heard the news that if you have a camera the game could take your picture when someone takes you down or if you win a race. I thought it was a stupid idea and that now one will use it, but many people do have it and use it. It was funny to see the peoples faces once you crush them, some smiled some flicked you off etc... haha
Oh man so far I love this game. Maybe i should get the EYE toy for those shots and for the cool games I hear about designed for the toy
How much are they 40-50 dollars? And is it really worth it?

If you have a PS2 Eye Toy then you can always use one of them, plus they are cheaper.

Oh cool, too bad i don't have one. But I might save up lil bit of money and buy the cam with that card game. It looks pretty cool and interactive :)

-> I'm still debating if I should get a JawBone (via EBoy) for my Nokia N75 and PS3 or a PS Eye. :indiff:

-> Take note, I'm one of those 'silent' guys. :boggled:

Aaaaarghhhhh.. Just got my A License last night - only to discover I'll need another 116 wins to get yet another License upgrade :-)

Still having fun though!..

Will online wins help towards the 116 wins I need for the next upgrade ?...

No, for the last license you have to win all available races at least once. And they are all offline, starting at the crossways.

Hi all, 69 to go until Elite. Just figured out this morning that you only need to turn the G25 a few degrees. I've been yanking on it for full lock & was all over the shop! Would like to make friends that don't send pics of their "doojits" after a Takedown. Feel free to add me: bellybox
Good luck on the game everyone!
