Well, my old motherboard bit the dust a few weeks ago. Although I was not planning to spend any money on computer stuff, I now have a lovely Asus A7V8X-X with an Athlon XP 3000+. OH, I needed to upgrade to PC 3200, so I have a 512 MB stick of that too.

It's faster and scads more reliable than my old combo. I don't think I've had a single hardware related crash...something that was almost omnipresent with the old gear!

I also purchased some taillight gaskets for the car. You know, so the water stays outside of the car. Unfortunately, the tool packing the order sent the wrong ones...so now I have to wait another week.

I hope it doesn't rain...
