I don't think they have a new Z06, its now called the Z51 or something like that I think. Or at least thats what I've been told.

The Z51 is just a sports package for the standard Corvette. A new "Z06" (with a new name more then likely) will be coming later, and be even better.

I just can't believe they got rid of the flip-up lights. Other than that I like it a lot, but I wish it had flip-up lights.

I read that Chevy tried to find some flip up lights from the old parts bin, but it was stuck under too many Duran-Duran tapes and jelly bracelets..

Just read Motor Trend and it said the STOCK engine had 400bhp. So that means that the track vette will have more. IF it follows the pattern, then we are looking at a 450 bhp Z06!!!

there. if it had flip-up lights it would be cool. nah. if it had another front end this one BLOWS!!!! the rear is awesome.the powertrain is beyond words, but the front is S-TU-PID.

Like the engine, heritage, and the performance. But with the new C6, it looks like a downgrade rather than a sucessor of a great marque. GM totally screwed this one up, in fact, if I choose between the new-gen Vette and the new-gen Mustang, I'll get the Mustang hands down, even though I'm a Corvette fan.

Well, what can I say? It's a typical 2-steps-forward-and-one-step-back move from GM. The good side? 400hp stock, better interior, better handling, good potential (Possible 600-hp ZO6 in 2006). The bad side? TERRIBLE HEADLIGHTS!!! Change those headlights and then split the grille, and you've got a Vette.

As usual, like with all thier other cars. I'm not much of a GM OR a Ford fan, but the now mopars look even MORE screwed up, so I would have to go with the Mustang - I can't resist the retro look.
