black ops is the simplest game ive ever seen to get a kill streak in. Sorry you're having such a tough time with it. The game even auto aims for you, watch your reticule stick to guys.

I didn't even play this crapfest past level 15. Waste of my time, lobbies full of 9 year olds and one armed gimps getting kill streaks with their freebe perks. This is just far too dumbed down to keep my interest. KD ratio means squat if you want a high one play with the same droolers and CampOnDuty. If you want to have fun, then move and get shot. I prefer roaming around like with CoD2 and my sniper before they BUSTED sniper rifles.

Wow you are just a troll I can see because every single console game has auto aim, BO's is by far the hardest of the series to get a killstreak in because they don't stack like they did in MW2, and what the hell are "freebe perks". So you don't like 9 year olds, they are in every game, you sound like you are maybe 12:crazy:

Here we go again...I hope some people have fun running around with two shotguns with two broken perks. If you do not like the game, complain to the company not us.

Haha, what a joke. I don't need to quote other peoples opinions to make mine. I don't care what yours is. You quote my opinion because you can't handle the truth. The fact is that treyarch constantly trip over Infinity Ward's footprints.

So I'm 12 according to you , but find BO's the EASIEST SHOOTER EVER MADE TO GET A CHEESY KILL STREAK IN. Maybe work on your skill, troll boy.

No auto aim in reach, no auto aim in KZ3 with motion controls, no auto aim on Crysis Wars. You stick to the baby stuff, I`ll play shooters that take some skill instead of perks and auto flyin g **** to kill for you.

Watch the killcam to prove BO`s is busted, sometimes you`re facing a different direction or not even firing, it`s a joke!

You really need to learn about how multiplayer games work. EVERY game on a console has auto aim, every single one of them. None of them have it on PC because you have more precision on PC. The kill cams represent jack because of lag. Wow. So, if you don't like the game so much then why would you even bother coming into a thread a bashing it? That my friend is troll, and I have a feeling your stay at GTP won't last long if you keep up things like that.

You really need to learn that some console games can disable auto aim. I have ZERO auto aim in KZ3 with the sharpshooter. When playing Reach my reticule will NEVER move by itself like it does in CoD. Posting an opinion isn`t trolling just because you don`t like it. Constantly quoting my opinion trying to disuade me from my own perfectly rational opinion is. So give it up `fan boy`I`ve already played the game itself which is worth more than any sentence you can type on a racing forum. Blame lag for the killcam all you want, but Halo recorded games long before CoD ever did and doesn`t suffer the same glitches as facing the wrong way or not even shooting back, lol!

I didn't say that you can't disable the auto aim, I said that all console games have it. You can disable the auto aim in black ops if you choose, that's up to you. Sure Halo has had the ability to record your games for a while and they don't have the lag issues in the recordings for one reason, they came up with it and perfected it. This is a completely new feature for the COD series and its going to take some work to make it work properly. Just the fact that you use the word, "fanboy" really says something about your age and character. If you have already played the game and don't like it then that is fine, but why come here and tell everyone that the game is horrible? So if I play COD I'm a "fanboy"? I have Halo 3 sitting on my desk as well, so now I'm just confused...

CoD always had a killcam and so many times you or your enemy was facing a different direction and not even firing sometimes, and it`s still the same unfixed mess today. There is no auto aim period, in Halo Reach multiplayer or in KZ3 multiplayer using motion controlls.

The fact that you can`t handle my opinion why I really couldn`t care any less about yours really says something to me about your age and character not to mention using the word `troll` .

Just post your own opinion and stick to it instead of trying to disuade me from mine, that`s what makes you a fanboy. I didn`t quote your opinion and argue it with you, I merely posted my own opinion of the game in the appropriate thread. If i was just quoting people I didn`t agree with and arguing their OPINION with them, then I would be a `troll`.

How many more times will you continue to quote me in your pathetic fanboy attempt to change my opinion? Maybe I should start a Letterman style count?

Stop feeding the troll and he'll eventually go away.

I'm going to make sure I watch the banned user log for a while, I'm sure I will get a kick out of it:dopey:

Before the map pack..I use to find alot of Zombie lobbies that actually require team work...Now I just find players that just play around..

One of your issues, dare I say problems, is presenting opinion as fact.

There is no auto aim period, in Halo Reach multiplayer or in KZ3 multiplayer using motion controlls.

Game Informer's latest issue, JIC #215, includes a brief article on "The science behind how first-person shooters help you aim." (Emphasis mine ;)). The professional reference for this article is one Jaime Griesemer who states, rather clearly I might add, that EVERY iteration of Halo has included "aiming help" for the console gamer. The aim assist programming sub-routines discussed in the article include "snapping," "acceleration," "friction" and "magnetism."

So maybe when you use the term "auto aim" you mean something very specific, but if you are suggesting that there is zero "aim assist," in Halo or any other console FPS, then you are flat out mistaken. However even in the specific case of "auto aim" to quote Jaime, "there is only a small amount of auto aim in the Halo franchise." Which is to say, there IS auto aim in the Halo franchise.

At least there is no Aim bots on Console version..That was annoying on Source...

I don`t care what anyone wrote, my reticule will never move from where I leave it to target someone passing through like CoD does.

I don`t care what anyone wrote.

Yes, that is rather apparent. Had you bothered to click on the link you'd would have learned that "anyone", as you call him, is:
"Jaime Griesemer is a video game designer and a senior employee at Bungie Studios. He served as a designer for Halo: Combat Evolved and a design lead for Halo 2."

Clearly an individual whose insights on the topic should be dismissed

Have you watched any of his other videos? They are pretty cool.

This one may have already been posted, but I found it quite awesome.

Apparently the German Shepards in the game were mated with the little known Short Haired Tunisian Trampoline ;)

Oh yeah and that BO aimbot video... well, I don't even know what to say. I hope that was all done in combat training.

Explain to me how that affects the fact that my reticule doesn't move on its own like it does in CoD and maybe you'll have a point.

No one is trying to change your opinion. You do not like BO and that is fine, most of the time BO pisses me off anyways. The problem is that at the center of your argument you keep falling back on a (false) observation of yours and trying to shove it down our throats as though it is a fact.

Stop trying to change the issue at hand. One moment you are ragging on BO because of the auto-aim and have the audacity to claim:
There is no auto aim period, in Halo Reach multiplayer or in KZ3 multiplayer using motion controlls.

Then when your "fact" is refuted by a Reach developer (who is providing actual facts) you backpedal and claim that it has no relevance because you were talking about the reticule auto-moving, not just normal auto-aim. Yet you used the generalized term of auto-aim and assumed everyone would understand, on top of which you claimed no auto aim period which implies all forms of auto-aim. Or maybe you do not fully understand that your reticule auto-moving (loosely I might add) is one of many forms of auto-aim (which IMO when done loosely is not even very effective compared to the other forms).

Now it has been pointed out before that you can turn off the reticule auto-moving. That is the way I play because I find it does more harm to my game than good. If you have a problem with other people using it, well then there is nothing you can do about that. I do not feel even remotely disadvantaged without it and I am sure many others do not as well, if you do then that is your choice I have no problem with that.

Now I cannot compare this game to MW because I never played it, the first online console shooter I played was KZ2, then I went to MW2 and now BO. I played way too much of all three titles and although I do not remember much about KZ2 I'm pretty sure the recoil was easier to manage than BO and MW2 was just a spray (no need to pray) fest. BO feels a lot harder to put someone down with a fully automatic weapon, there is still not that much recoil and of course the BS kills still happen (as with all FPSs) but it takes much more patience to manage than MW2 and KZ2.

On a side note, you cannot expect to come in to a thread about BO and say something bad about the game then get away with it 100% clean. Sure this is a discussion thread about BO for both the good and the bad but most people who are frequenting this thread are people who enjoy the game. For you to come in here and not only bash the game but also take a stab at the people who play it
What a disaster black ops is, total kiddie game. A one armed gimp could get a kill streak in this no skill required shooter.
will result in some backlash against you.

@The aim-bot video. That is terrible. I wonder how swift Treyarch are for bans ...
New maps:
I dislike Stadium, spawns are really annoying and too many upstairs places for people to camp.
Discovery I love.
Berlin Wall is fun when people are going crazy (running around and rushing) but annoying when people are camping.
Kowloon I disliked at first but now I'm undecided on. Sometimes it goes well and is really fun but sometimes the spawns really get annoying and so do the people camping under the sign.
Zombie map = awesome.

I hate the game..lol..So when I start playing Street Fighter and I hate that too because of my own faults..I will return to BO or Reach.

Zombie map = awesome.

The Halo auto aim was done by using a larger reticule for machine guns and such. In Reach there is a accurate crosshair centred in the larger circle. The DMR has a much smaller circle. The Halo auto aim is merely within those circular limits the actual reticule does not snap to its target. That isn`t even my biggest complaint if you read properly. My complaint was that the series is getting DUMBED DOWN more and more with each iteration. Now it sells like candy because every 10 year old has to have it and everyone from kiddies to grandparents has a perk and skill streak waiting for them to enjoy!

And maybe I should start handing out infractions!

To be blunt to all of you, any more comments in this vein will see infractions issued.

Argue the point, don't attack the person and if you cant manage that then don't post.

Point taken, and my apologies. As you seen, I just stopped responding back.

Riiight moving on.

Double xp ftw! I managed to level from 19 to 40 in 2 days and unlock a good set of Pro Perks in the process. 👍

Still on the fence about whether or not to get the map pack.

I missed this second go around of double xp because my daughter scratched my disk up so bad it was unplayable, and she did it saturday morning so I never got a part of it. What really sucks is that I had just prestiged for the 3rd time and I wouldn't have done that if I knew I wasn't going to be able to level up quick again :( Getting some of the pro perks is just ridiculous in this game, mainly I have a hard time getting Flack Jacket pro and Marathon Pro. I hate CPT and I never see anyone tossing grenades, just semtex, and you cant throw simtex back...

Right. Ranked up from 46 3rd Prestige to 41 4th Prestige myself.

On the map pack I'd personally give it a 7. So that is to say I don't think you are really missing out on that much, only Discovery and Kowloon do I find worthy of mention. However many people hate Kowloon, but to me that is only indicative of how inspired it is from a design perspective. I've played that map now probably 100+ times and I still get lost. It is truly the only 3 dimensional map I can think of in all the HD era CoD releases. But it is hard to recommend another pay the price of admission for one great map and one pretty good one, IMHO.

Agreed on the Pro requirements. I've yet to earn FJP, MaraP or NinP for similar reasons. Nade throw back req's (WTF Treyarch, couldn't they patch this stupid req ), not liking CTF & personally I just don't play the SnD & Demo modes much myself.

The first Pro perk I got was Ninja  I use it for almost every class though :indiff:. Kowloon's pretty complex for me as well. And there's too many campers in my Stadium games :grumpy:. Discovery and Berlin Wall's good for sniping (which I am getting good at :D). And if you go into the book store in Berlin Wall (not too sure what side it's in), there're a few books by an E.Richtofen :D

I love Kowloon because it seems like everyone gets lost but me!:) I know that map better than any other map, and I like the way it is setup, there are multiple ways to get into the rooms so its hard for people to camp because I can flank them fairly easy.

Thanks for summing it up icelt. I've watched quite a few gameplay videos on the new maps and they look decent but nothing really stands out to me. Of course it doesn't help that I feel this way about most of the maps in Black Ops lol. My cousin got them the day they were released so I'll have to give them a try next time I'm at his house and see if it's worth it.

I play a fair bit of Demolition so Ninja Pro was quite easy for me to unlock. What I'm having trouble with now is Steady Aim Pro where you have to Melee two enemies consecutively within 5 seconds. I'm lvl 46 now and even though I didn't want to at first, I'm feeling the itch to prestige again so I doubt I'll get that Pro Perk.

The easiest way for me to get steady aim pro was to slap on ghost and steady aim and then ninja for me, play some domination and just get up in the spawn. When two of them run by on a high traffic route you are camping at just run out behind them and cut them both, or get behind where they are camping the flag. That's the easiest way I have found to get it.
